Bora Bora - Will it get its act together 2012?

I've had a couple of good nights inside. It's my mates 40th on 23rd June and he's requested an all day bender at Bora Bora like old times. Lots of fancy dress, fun and games to be had :-)
Thats what it all about.we were there for the opening 2 weeks ago drinkin beers and cava from the supermarket and had a great time

Nice. He's decided he just wants all his mates together in the sun having a laugh and no Ushuaia VIP bollocks. I've currently collected 8 different giant inflatables for the day and counting. Includes a giant cock and balls, hammer, saxophone, guitar, tiger etc. etc. lots of fun to be had :D

I went to Bora Bora for the opening having not been since 2010 and I enjoyed it. There was a good mixed crowd and not a hint of trouble (apart from a girl who was dancing in high heels on the table and fell off!).
The last time I went was later in the season and around the bar it always kind of felt like it was going to kick off.
The music was also much better with deep/jackin house rather than ear splitting electro/tech house they played the last time.
In my opinion, since they started pulling that curtain across a few years back it seemed to kill the atmosphere, but compared to a lot of the polished new additions to PDB beach, it still has a raw charm for me.

Yeah the music was great for the opening and the mix of people is best at that time of year. You`d have lots of workers arriving that week and that is usually the the first party of the summer for most people.8)

did anybody ever test bb´s restaurant lately ?
is it eadible or do they just throw some frozen foods in the chip pan ?

Didnt try the food this year but i heard a girl who was waiting for food to arrive say "I`ve been waiting for this since last october, its the best on the island"..the waiter came down with Spaghetti Bolognaise..:D

i was there last Sunday! nearly got a slap from some wide boy in the toilet as he reckons i touched his beer - i was like get ya self down the west end 'brav' (then quickly walked off) lol but to be fair its always worth a visit, music was okish but lack of atmosphere inside! Spiderman was there later on but some guy had the most annoying whistle and even the DJ looked pissed off with him! Reckon plastik beach could catch on tho!!

I was there a few days ago. I think its still a little quiet on the island so the vibe wasn't what I was expecting from previous years. Even the smaller things like the aeroplane flying past and the clapping somehow eluded punters.

I got to Bora at around 4.30pm and stayed for a few hours.

The drink prices went up between 4.30pm and 5.30pm by a couple of euros.

The music was great actually. It had that perfect blend of house, tribal, tech house that is infectious to listen to over and over again.

Spider man was there and he was cranking his stuff and loving life as usual.

If Bora bora isn't pumping by July it needs a serious marketing drive.

Thought Bora Bora was decent this past Sunday - also seemed to go off Friday night somewhat. Did hear a rumour that Spider-man has been signed to work on some boat party during the day!

Think the music is a bit all over the place myself. You'll hear a few 'commercial' tech house stuff, like that ****e type of tech house. Then will hear some belter deep house, then a commercial tune out of nowhere and so on. No flow.

Saying that, regardless of the music I'll still be there of a Sunday on the beaching with a few desperado's until the sun goes down and make my way to space.

Well Well Bora Bora have a new website http://www.boraboraibiza.net, so it looks like they are taking things up a notch or two..
