OK folks... I don't have time, energy or determination to read through the forums to figure out the latest that's been said. I'm on vacation, after all. And I searched for the keyword Tahiti and found nothing. So, here you go:

- Bora Bora is not closed. It's open. But it's a quiet bar/cafe and nothing more. The beach still has service. Grab a beach chair and order yourself a sangria.
- The new beach bar Delano's, which has been mentioned in a couple of threads on here, is open. Apparently it's the same owners as BB. Great. It's got some decent tunes playing at a decent volume so as to be audible from the beach. Very shiny new place, to the left of Bora Bora if you're looking at BB with the sea behind you.
- TAHITI, the bar to the right of Bora Bora (when looking at BB with the sea behind you) was always a quiet little place. Not any more!
The Bora Bora sounds system (and even some of the blue drink high tables) has been moved next door to Tahiti.
Basically, they start playing music at decent volume mid-afternoon and turn it up evenings. I got over there around 6 tonight and left around 8 and the palce was rocking.
If you, intrepid travellers, were worried about missing the Bora Bora experience (before the place reopens in a month), worry no more

As you'd expect under current circumstances, drug enforcement is a little more serious now... this guy (on the ground in front of camouflage-pants) was so off his rocker he actually danced on broken glass. He was... politely
