Bora Bora - some questions

Hello,

Going to ibiza for my 4th time on the 3rd August but shockingly I have never been to Bora Bora and Space.

So I have some questions of anyone can help.

1. I am staying in the Sunshine Apartments in the bay, how far is that from Bora Bora?

2. How much is it in and what is this I hear about if you are there all day you get a band and you get in some where free? (Space?) Also whats a common time to get there?

3. Whats the craic with Space? do you go after a night out? when you get up? I am confused!

4. And finally a non Bora Bora question, we want to hire a boat, a big one for the day, big enough for 12 people, play some tunes, have a few drinks and sunbathe. Whats the typical price for something like this?

I know what you are thinking, he's been 3 times and knows feck all, I think this might be my last time so want to do it in style!

Thanks in advance

BB is on the East of the Island - you are on the West. Take a bus from San An to Ibiza Town then a connecting bus to Playa d'en Bossa.

2. How much is it in and what is this I hear about if you are there all day you get a band and you get in some where free? (Space?) Also whats a common time to get there?
BB is free, you pay to get into Space and if you arrive before 4.00pm you will receive a wrist band which will give you the option to leave Space for as long as you like and come back when you are ready - they then take the band off you once you re-enter. Most people arrive at Space mid afternoon to experience dancing on the terraces in the sunshine.... Suggest buying your Space tickets off this site. very easy to do.

3. Whats the craic with Space? do you go after a night out? when you get up? I am confused!

Space used to open around 8.00am (I think it might be later now - I missed a year in 06 so not quite sure

4. And finally a non Bora Bora question, we want to hire a boat, a big one for the day, big enough for 12 people, play some tunes, have a few drinks and sunbathe. Whats the typical price for something like this?

No Idea but if there is no information on this site about hiring a boat then try UpHospitality.

I know what you are thinking, he's been 3 times and knows feck all, I think this might be my last time so want to do it in style!

Also, it depends on what night/day you are going to Space. Pupppylover is correct about space for the we love party on Sunday, but Space also has night clubs throughout the week as well... Some of the nights , such as Carl Cox, start a little earlier than other club nights and are a lot cheaper if you go earlier in the night.. as well as day parties, such as Matinee in Saturday, which many people just go on to after being out on a Friday night.

If the announced hours for In Bed with Space (Wednesday daytime party) are any indication, it looks like daytime events might start at 12 noon this year (for reference: http://www.spotlight-forums.com/showthread.php?t=44871)

Yep.

Many people will do a daytime session, head out for a break (Bora Bora, nap, dinner, walk on the beach, whatever... depending on your physical condition and habits ) and then come back for a night session.

NO there is no passout for the opening and closing (edit: james)

Are you sure? We've bought our tickets off the Space website and I was under the impression they entitled us to stand in the VIP queue (!) and a passout.

hi digger, no, there are no passouts for the space opening anywhere (edit: james)

Is that also confirmed? I thought they said the same last year and then gave pass-outs anyway (but it was difficult to get back in).

In any case, that applies for you Horsey-Fun but not for you Stefranceuk, since you're going in August.

ouch, no pass out is rough... especially when they don't allow you to bring the necessities of life in (water, food)
