BORA BORA reopening 27th May 2005

the bad news is, that the highways will def. be build....the landscape is destroyed forever
 Is allready being built here in Mallorca, I see it quiet often when i go to Palma, is terrible, is terrible to see what they have allready destroyed, there wasn't need to that motorway, terrible news about the one in Ibiza, Ibiza is so small compared with Mallorca, is a terrible impact in Mallorca being the biggest island of Baleares, just imagen in Ibiza. I am very upset about this subjet. Donde vamos a ir a parar.

I have just been on the phone to jet about various things including how it stands now with Bora Bora.

I don't want any of the Bora Bora faithful to be mislead in any way and never will do.

Where Bora Bora stands its possible that VERY LOW chill out music can be played during the day without a DJ. No more than this.

There is a big blue, glass pyramid building next door that was built a few years ago which now has permission to open as a club, the name or its opening hours are not known yet . Its a great venue in a unique position right in front of the beach, i will help jet as much as they want with the initial set up of the venue and will know more information in a few weeks.

As i say i do not want anyone to misunderstand what is happening here.

The island is still the same with all the music being stopped at those venues as it was at the end of last summer and have not seen any evidence to say otherwise, in fact quite the opposite i´m sad to say.

Thanks very much guys, i hope there´s more understanding on this now.

I understand everyones hopes for a Bora Bora beach venue again, its a big world and I'm far from giving up on that, your support on this wont let me either, Bora Bora and myself are nothing without you, this is the truth of it so thank you again.

Soon Gee

...think you're all getting excited bout nowt guys, unless you're happy to lie on the beach listening to low noise level chill out music and have to go indoors to a building next to it for any real tunes?

sorry to put a downer on it

Oli said he hadnt heard/didnt know anything about it reopening.

I think we just need to wait and see what's happening, rather than all this speculation.

But some music's better than nothing, I suppose.

me too but just don't want people expecting more than there is and being dissapointed. :?

some music is better than nothing, I agree, but this "low lovel chill out music" is also what you find at all other pool/beach bars, so you could just as easily be at one of them.

looks like beach parties are a thing of the past now...maybe we should start our own illegal ones??? seems a pity to waste all that beautiful sand and sun on plain old boring sunbathing...

Translation: "It won't be as good without me, come to Brazil"

i for one am very interested to see what will be happening in the big blue glass disco.

they have the potential to create a real storm.

it is right on the beach. it will undoubtedly be free or cheap entry, and it is not thaaat big - so nice intimate atmosphere.

What with that and the anticipation of seeing the new space terrace and its side room i really can not wait for the season to start! Its gonna be soooo good.
