Whats the crack with this place? Is it open everyday? Is it literally just get yourself a crate of beers and head down there for free? Live DJ's, hundreds of people raving etc?

The beach itself is open all day yes, There are a few bars along there that have some dj's, Not sure what time Bora Bora beach BAR opens though, and no dj's till late i'm sure? But there are other bars too along bora bora who will have dj's playing

Ah ok so its not just one big beach club with a dj playing then? Its just a selection of different bars along the strip?

bora bora is one bar roughly in the middle of play den bossa beach. Its at the End of the Jet hotel / apartemnt complex. There are other bars playing music etc close by. I think with the laws it will get going around 4pm. yes you can bring beers from supermarket and sit on the beach and be able to hear it just fine. They put up a barrier at some point in the evening to section it off though. The music does continue till late inside but they have to close the outside bits at a certain time for noise restrictions

I know the opening party is not until later in May, but does anyone know if the bar is open in early May?

since when does that strange sissi´s-asador-thing belong to borabora ?

Hi everybody:) I'm new in the forum and have been to ibiza for the last 6 years. I've been to Bora Bora every year an loved it especially from 2010-2012 when table dance was allowed again and the atmosphere became better. Last year however, Bora Bora seemed emptier than the years before. I was there at the end of August. Is Bora Bora suffering because of the newer Bars an especially hotels like Ushuaia and Hard Rock? I think Bora Bora is an institution and for me it's a real Ibiza place. What do you think? What are your experiences?

Thanks for the answers:)

Bora Bora is always hit and miss throughout the season, whether that be slap ban in the middle of August or 3rd week in September. When its full on, its a good evening session!
