What!! dude dont talk to me that way. You are ignorant brit, i understand perfectly what you have been saying here: you seem to have a nack for regulating people's tastes. Forget about boom , the thread. Sure sometimes it was loud. But what bothers me personally is how you white brits seem to try to impose a mentality of what ought to be, just because you engage in this particular action. And yes i did say whites. Because the secne that you so defend is of "underground" music in which 90% of those that succeed are like you. Arrogant, ignorant and who want to imposse. If you dont like certain aspects of the scene just ignore them. But you particularly run around trying to tell people what is or isn't standard. That is my problem and in general that usuallly carries a sentiment of aloofnes from your part that which is tied to the fact that you are either arrogant or a inflexible person that is not willing to let others have their fun without shitting on their tastes. Someone really has to tell you this because in music there is no right or wrong approach. And you seem to think there is. so which one is it for you??? I am sick of reading shi t from you. How on earth can a comment about me disliking the sound system in Boom relate to you now sharing your dislike of 'White Brits'?

If you like the sound system in Boom that is great, it is called having an opinion. Remember for no reason you advised me I was 'talking shit' You completely contradict yourself.

I will leave it up to admin to deal with your argumentative and racist views.

However, hopefully admin will keep this post as it shows a) we believe in free-speech in Western Europe unlike many nations (Russia, China, etc), and b) racism against whites is a form of racism that is never discussed and acknowledged as even existing - the evidence is above!

I think you are forgetting that i said that i have been reading all of your posts and my responce is not necessarily pertaining to boom as it is stated. So maybe you need to understand what i posted. Also, you also seem to convey an idea of superiority which has always lurked without necessary mention or implicit state. And you are the worst culprit of all. So do not patronize me, because you were the one that stated and suggested a certain sort of superiority in your first responce. You like to put down others based on nothing, based on garbage that you think is a global demenour for everyone. Without saying much you retorted to my minority status and my english very quickly , as if that is a problem. As if that makes you superior right off the start. I might not be an english by birth but you disclosed a peculiar state of mind that seems to be a global variable (if you will) , that which comes across in many of your posts and others. So if that is the case i already told you. My post was simple, i dont like your attitude and this is based on what you have written previously . Now you are playing a game of words. Semantics. I don't mind whites ( lol) but you don't see me calling on others behaviour here. I can read between the lines and you keep entertaining this sentiment that castigates other's possible joy. Honestly, there is a level of insensibility at times that you portray. I think it is because you are insecure. I am sure of myself. Yea, I might get irritated but I am sure that when I party I am there for the fun not to fulfill some sort of self established hegemony. If I feel and see is not for me I leave but I don't make agenda to make others feel bad about their choices, especially not in a board that houses tastes from all over Europe.

Anyway, rather be someone's shot of whiskey than everyone's cup of tea. What I would maybe do is read some old books about rave culture and how it had a mantra of peace, love and unity (apologies, but the majority of these are written by 'Brits') Think this may help educate you, please don't think I am trying to force my own 'perspectives'

I still think you are exceptionally racist and really hope that you can fix this. I also don't think you should post on a forum where people give their views, personal opinions and constructive advice (which you can take or leave) based on their own experiences. If you are not strong enough to handle a difference from your own opinion without resorting to being argumentative, racist and rude this will only end up getting you more annoyed and not doing anything for your general health and well being. I think you may end up offending a lot more people as well.

My last word on it all is this: Yes, we do all give sometimes forceful views, but most of the time it is just based on experience, insight etc that we pass on to others. It's a matter of fact that on the whole most people here seem to prefer more tech-house, techno music, and hence there will always be a bias towards this, but debate is still good!

As Evelyn Beatrice Hall wrote in "The friends of Voltaire" in 1906:

"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"

while it might come across as some sort of pdb vs san antonio argument, it is not.

All i am saying is that you are an uninformative for the most part. And there is a certain demenour and prototype that you portray unfortunately. You are insecure, aloof, rude as well and uninformative (did i say?). I rather pick and argumnet and tell you briefly how i feel than have to deal with your shitty points of view all over, as to how cool it is to hang out with you. Everything is a matter of perspective but all of you seem to want to impose your view on others as if it is some sort of blanket altruistic standard that one should follow. Personally, I think your posts are shit because they portray some insecure points of view as if you defend some sort of lifestyle as if it is so hip and cool by putting down others. A strong point of view would be in a different slant you are just a bully that I would waste in a minute for being so cocky and trying to be more than an opinion. please don't write 7 pages worth of a reply though, this is just an observation, you might have seen sarcasm and I'm wrong

I am hearing some REALLY good things about this place this year! I think the programming is really good and probably what they should have gone with last year (as opposed to trying to just replicate Pacha)......
 
Just been reading the review for defected on here. It mentioned doors were closed by 1.30am as they hit capacity. is this normal for defected nights at booom? Looking to go 23rd sept. If we get tickets for the ngt can we pretty much turn up anytime and gaurentee getting in even if they are turning people away at the door
