yes that's correct, they said towards end of june today

Don't claim to have any idea what I am talking about, but I think the end of June / early July will be much better! We all know what a "slow night" in June can be like mid week in a club, where as by July onwards some of their parties should really be able to gain some traction. Just my view from a far...

Completely agree with this.
Sankeys has shown June is a difficult month with many nights not having events listed & the ones that do occur arent rammed.

Defected on 25/05 now in the Savannah back room! As you can imagine Dennis Ferrer and Yousef won't be there! Appreciate sh_it happens, but was looking forward to some of those June Defected dates (Nick Curly, Noir, Derrick Carter etc), I fear we may have lost them all now! But maybe they will play around with the July line-ups once Bomba opens....

Circus have announced liverpool line ups for the summer months. normally it runs from october to may. Clue to bombas fate or more to do with Circus increasing popularity here?

The mayor canceled the meeting, to complete 2 years in office.
Nothing to do with Bomba

Hanging on
As reported in last week"s Ibiza Sun, the Lady Mayor, Marienna Sánchez-Jáuregui, has agreed to stand down but, at the agreed date when she should have presented her resignation, she was unfortunately indisposed with gastroenteritis. At the time of writing, she still holds office, but is expected to step down at the general council meeting which will be held tomorrow, the 30th of May. However, the opposition PSOE party suggested that she was trying delay tactics to stay on until 11th of June, the date which coincides with two years of her being appointed. According to the statute, anyone employed for more than two years would be entitled to an extra annual payment which, in her case, would be around 14,000€.
The head of the PP conservative party, Vicent Serra, said that the timing was unfortunate but, that she had supplied a doctor"s note to say that she would be unable to return to work for five days. He continued that the sooner things could get back to normal and her substitute, Pilar Marí, can be appointed, the better, as the image of the party in the city is being tarnished.
