Bomba Ibiza Launches May 22nd

I talked to a few people about getting a Table at bomba for the 22nd and both persons I spoke to said they believe that it won't be ready to open for May 22nd and the opening will be postponed =(

Were any of these people from Bomba? I doubt it therefore i wouldnt hold the info in high regards.

omg ... now just a few days left till the earlier announced opening-date -
and since weeks bomba´s "pr-department" is quieter than vienna´s central cemetery ...

no, none of these people were from bomba. Hopefully you are right and they will be open for the 22nd, but the promoters I have spoken to said there is no way it will be ready in time.

One would think they would have the tickets on sale for the 22nd opening party and they would be taking requests for the VIP area if they planned on having it open for the 22nd. Furthermore, they have not announced any lineups for the opening party but have announced a bunch of other lineups (ie defected). Though, you would think if they were going to postpone the opening party they would have announced it by now
 
In an interview with Simon Dunmore (head of Defected) on Ibiza Sonica on Friday he confirmed all licences are in place for Bomba...

they can have the license in place but... still no works going on! As I said earlier... i live in front of Bomba, just Above the B.fore and i walk my dogs everyday in front of Bomba... no sign of movement.... hope they get some 200 chineese to do the work in one night!
 
also note that the other nights we know of at the venue have yet to announce anything in terms of dj schedules on their websites (i.e. Morillo, Angello, etc.)
 
Angello was never confirmed and they were awaiting confirmation from another promoter / dj if they were available so they could decide which night Morillo had.

z-elebrities won´t be amused.
they need a wall of bamboo or something like that ...
 
A week to go ... somehow doubting that opening will happen when planned if they haven't been able to get the works underway whilst waiting for finalization of a licence - even if the licence comes through at the last minute.

That is unless a film stage set crew are brought in to whap up some temporary stuff for a party before closing down and refurbing it properly.....

Yup ... if Bomba happens this year I'm pretty sure it'll be later in the Season now. They'd be crazy to proceed without everything completely sewn up as it'll be a one-party wonder - and then curtains.

Just as well there are deep pockets behind it - though in the end the more it winds up costing in consequential losses from delays the more will get clawed back from - yes - the punters. If they're going to allow it best thing for visitors is for licencing dept to make up minds and get on with whatever decision they're intending to take and based on what conditions - or just say not this year so promoters can make other venue arrangements.

Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays are still free @ Privilege aren't they ? Perhaps the SHM "artistes" and the Vagabundos bregade can slot in around what's left there if Bomba goes boom.
