LAVISH NAOMI CAMPBELL LINES UP DAVID GUETTA FOR BIRTHDAY DO
...
IN these tough times, it seems like everyone is watching their wallets and saving the pennies.
Well, apart from Naomi Campbell, that is.

Never one to do things by halves, the supermodel is planning to throw a huge party in Ibiza
for her birthday next month.
She'll be turning 43, which is obviously, er, a big milestone in her life.

The notorious diva is spending over £1million on the bash,
which we're told is to be held at the opening of hot new nightspot Bomba.

An insider says: “The Black Eyed Peas are being lined up to perform and David Guetta will DJ it.”
Even more impressive than the entertainment is the guest list.
We're told that the revellers will include fellow model and pal Kate Moss, 39,
P Diddy, 43, Leonardo DiCaprio, 38, Demi Moore, 50, and Lenny Kravitz, 48.

Mossy and Diddy, in particular, are veterans of the party island fun
and will no doubt be itching to get out there and kick off another season in style.
And, of course, Naomi's billionaire boyfriend Vlad Dornonin will be there to help her celebrate
.
But the festivities might look quite low-key in comparison to some of his bashes.

For his 50th birthday last November, he hired himself a 15th Century fort in India,
flew all the 200 guests out to the event by private jet
and reportedly paid 69-year-old Diana Ross £500,000 to perform.

Hmm, now we think about it,
maybe this coming party is their version of “economising”?

Naomi Campbell on break from billionaire

... We won't have Naomi Campbell to kick around anymore. The New York Post reports the supermodel has separated from her billionaire boyfriend of five years, real estate mogul Vladimir Doronin, who has a mansion in Miami Beach.
Vlad, as he is known, was recently seen with an attractive female at the Rose Bar in NYC but is expected to attend Naomi's blowout 43rd birthday bash in Ibiza next month.
The so-called Russian Donald Trump is not officially divorced from his wife Ekaterina, even though they separated in 1998, the Post reports. They have a daughter together.
Campbell has been busier lately with her coaching duties on Oxygen's The Face.

honestly, even 'real' clubbers age, and reach a point where they don't want to be packed in like sardines, pressed up against some overly-drunk 19 yr old idiot that has no sense of dancing or common courtesy; and its at this stage that some of us say F-- it, I'd rather just pay for a table and give myself some room to dance. While I love the old club feel, I also love dancing and not being rammed in like a goddam number in some accountants book in order to extract that last bit of $per sq foot.

When it gets too far like that, that's my cue to move on. Definitely not going to have to resort to paying for a table just to get some space to dance.... around a f***ing table ! Just find another party - or another place to party in

a Vegas club setup, where if you have a penis, you need a VIP table or a woman with you. Group of 2 or more guys with no chicks? No entry.

It's likely the preppy letches and stag do's which have brought this about. Compare some proper clubs in Berlin - big group, mixed or not, often "no entry". Actually in some places - more than just yourself - many times no entry. I like that. Suits me fine. You can meet up with people you know in there or meet new ones. Much more what clubbing is about for some of us - none of this "my group's bigger than your group" nonsense !

Given that Ibiza isn't perhaps the most welcoming environment for new business – especially clubs – to start do you think there's a risk involved with your Bomba residency?

I think leaving your comfort zone is always a scary moment and Pacha is undoubtedly one of the most iconic clubs in the world. It is, historically, along with Amnesia, the original club in Ibiza. It was an amazing place for us to be associated with. To walk away from that I believe it's a ballsy move. But I think it's those kind of things that keep you on your toes and making the decision to move and push things forward allows you to reinvent yourself and allows you to work with new people to be more creative

When I spoke to Danny he said that convincing people to come to a brand new club in Ibiza, when you've got the established clubs all around you and when you have people wanting to discredit you with some dirty tricks thrown in was the hardest thing he's ever done. And I can see that. But actually I think it just gives you passion and if you believe in it then you can sell people your vision. And so whilst there is probably an element of risk, I think that sometimes fortune favours the brave.
Hopefully we'll get the luck we deserve this year

no updates on this from anyone? 2 weeks to the supposed opening and no new info.... I hope they at least get the permit sorted out to open soon even if they miss the opening week or so.

I live in the Girasoles apartment, just in front of it. If they want to open on the 22nd... they better hurry up because they haven't done anything!

Seem to recall very similar things being said about Ocean Beach Club last year with similar timescales, and in the end it opened on time just fine. The internal works will be the priority. Once they're complete, all hands on deck to complete the exterior.

True... but still...its quite a lot of work they need to do and with no license at the moment.... I talked to some of the neighboors and they said they are against it, like the B.Fore...
