Was contemplating spending an evening here when in Ibiza. For nice meal, possibly stay the rest of the night.

Imagining it's gonna hit my wallet hard though.

Has anybody eaten here this season - what kind of prices can I expect, food & drink?

And what does the evening entertainment offer? Is it more chilled-out, or is the music the right tempo to make a full night of it and party away & get your dance on?!?!

can't tell you about prices as i've never eaten there, but i'd go for an afternoon (and then dinner) instead. BM is most beautiful during the daytime in my opinion.

Food there is good but obviously it's priced at the top end. I'm sure you'll find some stuff on the menu that you'll find acceptable though....€15-€20 mains i recall.

Drinks aren't on the same level as Pacha/Amnesia, but they are certainly expensive, I'd estimate more along the lines of DC10 prices - €7-€10?

I went to one of Louie Vega's parties there last summer and it was v busy and plenty of people dancing in the small indoors room. As mentioned above, it is all about the location tho, so you might be best going during the day. Check their site for party info/the thread on here.

Edit...not sure it's a "full night of it" type of place, think it's done by 4am at the latest....I imagine earlier than that on lower key nights.

Good thread! I'd love to see Louie Vega, but I'm slightly put off that it might be a bit too upmarket to be fun...? I'm all for a bit of glam, but I'm wary about it being a bit too ab fab.

i was there on a Sat afternoon/evening last September for the Louis Vega party.... we had a dinner, a couple of pitchers of Sangria and a few drinks... that cost pretty close to 150-200 euros for both of us if my memory is correct... we were there around 5 hours i'd guess... s the night progressed some people did start dancing but nothing too crazy... hope that helps!

Sunset Ritual and Vega Family's Get Together debuted at the ultra-exclusive Blue Marlin Ibiza summer, 2010. This soon became the party that everyone was talking about on the island with spontaneous dj sets & live PAs. Anané & Louie Vega led a party which over the next 6 weeks welcomed guest DJs Nicolas Matar (Cielo Club), Roger Taylor (Duran Duran) and Jake Fonique plus Boddhi Satva and Nulu Music's Antonello Coghe with special live performances by Anané, Ultra Naté, Luisito Quintero and Lisa Fischer. Guests were treated to an unforgettable party in the luxurious setting of the Blue Marlin that gently beguiled the crowd at sunset and built into an all-night celebration.

Blue Marlin: Louie Vega Saturday night

Where can you get tickets for this does anyone know.:D

I don't doubt you sir for one bit though, would like a review on this night then, why is it free?

that's wierd, I mean what are the chances of getting in after 11/12 then mmmm FREE bit worried now lol..

get there mid-afternoon because it's gonna be roadblock. if you have tickets for defected you won't go to BM that late anyway.....

You have been a star, I had Saturday night planned to be honest but just changed from your flyer, I like that vibe from BM tbh..

My question is I currently have Tickets for Ushuaia Defected & Defected at Pacha, I love my soulful vibes & Louie Vega,

1: WOULD YOU drop the Ushuaia and go to BM at 5/6pm until 1am then go to Defected?

2: Ushuaia then Blue Marlin around 11:00pm until 6:00am

3: Blue Marlin 7pm all night all morning lol :lol:

How far is it from PDB, IE Taxi etc, just can't find enough info on this place...

Sorry for the questions, I like planning eh eh...

it's just a few minutes by taxi!!

what about spending the afternoon at BM till it gets dark, ushuaia till midnight, shower and dinner, then pacha?'

This worth a visit then mate?? Me and the missus land around 2ish saturday the 3rd sept, we had booked dinner and drinks at amante but not sure now??

you have time to do both..... go for dinner earlier and then down to BM. don't leave it for too late though or the music will be inside instead of outside.....

by the way, i like your style: half a week in ibiza / half a week in formentera ! !
