bike hire?

I would like to hire a push bike and go sightseeing on it. Are there many places to go see ? Was maybe thinkin of going up the mountains, is it safe ...?

plenty to see, but safe? - I'd rather have plenty of metal around me with the general level of driving ability normally shown

plus depending on when you're here it may be just too ridiculously hot for biking it!

there are cycle routes shown on leaflets you can pick up from the tourist offices - 'falcon routes'
