Brighton cabs are very expensive...apparently dearest outside london. It costs us about tenner to see friends 2 miles away! Glad you liked the city though...it is a great place to be/live:D

Hiya - yep, we were £10 from the pier to the station :eek:
 
That does sound too much...I wonder if you were shafted a bit there...it's less than a mile...straight up one street:eek:

Think it might have been £7 on the meter but threw a tenner as the train was due to leave :spank: hmmm does sounds like a bump though as I'm pretty sure it wasn't a straight journey!
 
Interesting .. haven't been to Brighton in yonks - might give it a go again sometime reading that 8).
