Best Weekend Night

Hey,

I'm going to valencia in june and am thinking of heading over to Ibiza for one night on either the weekend 9th/10th or 16th/17th.

What's the best night to check out? I've noticed on the calendar:
- Pure Pacha Opening party (but I've heard tong is weak live)
- Def Mix Opening
- Amnesia Opening

Also I hear you get ripped off if you pay at the door but I don't have a credit card. Is there anywhere else you can get tickets?
 
Tong is not the best dj in the world but his set choices have been much better in recent years


You can get tickets all over the island esp in Ibiza Town (along the harbour side) and in places like Mambo/Bar M in San Antonio
 
i think tongy gets it a bit harshly. your pretty much guaranteed a good set of tunes nowadays and when your dancing in pacha, who cares about 100% amazing mixing?! 8)

To elaborate a bit, many of the bars in the Ibiza harbour area, parts of San Antonio and Playa den Bossa will sell you tickets. Sometimes they'll want you to stop off for a drink but if you're having pre-party drinks anyway then it's not a problem. There are also a handful of ticket agents in these areas and you can even shop around a bit for the best price (usually there's not much range, but sometimes you get lucky).
 
Amnesia opening will be the cheapest to get in to and the most crazy.

If it's the same as previous years two-person "invitations" will be available all over the island but when you get to the door they'll expect you to cough up 10-20€ each. You should get a drink with that tho.
