Best opticians?

I'm going to get my eyes tested again... I've been with a local opticians for ages but I'm thinking of going to a more central one as it's easier to get to. There's a Specsavers just over the road from me, also a Boots... anyone tried either of these or have any other recommendations?

I think I go to Specsavers and they've always been fine. Tbh they're all pretty much of a muchness imo. Most give you a free eye test for first time you go.

I think I have pretty much tried them all, and like Barbie said they are all the same.

Boots have a 2-for-1 offer on at the moment. Just be careful not to get stung- if you ask for say, scratch resistance on the lenses for your main pair if you don't tell them not to they'll do the same for the lenses on the 2nd pair and charge you for it.
