Best Credit Cards?

Best way to collect airmiles are:
Shop at tesco (so tesco credit card might come in handy, cos you can convert clubcard 250 clubcard point to 40 airmiles)
Fill up at Shell and get the drivers club reward card - i think their mastercard is out in sept/oct -i dont know what the conversion rate is.
Lloyds TSB have an airmiles Credit card - but you only get 1 mile for every £10 or something

I'm looking to change my credit card as I'm getting charged interest and not getting any benefits from it!
I want a card ideally that I can build air miles on, and one that gives me a good amount of free interest!
Any good recommendations?
they're all evil, but Virgin do a fairly generous 0% on balance transfers, I think you can get about 12mths, capital ones platinum is 18mths
