Best Bora Bora day? WLS, M'mission & Pure Pacha pre-part

Hi

I hope you can help me out with a few questions.

What are the best days/evenings of the week at Bora Bora?

Are there any WLS, Manumission or Pure Pacha pre-parties in Ibiza Town, Figuretas or Bossa? I can't see any in the Sticky in this forum.

What's the deal with the WLS pre-party in Cafe Del Mar, considering WLS starts at 8am ?!? lol.

What time do pre-parties tend to start?

Hi Wavy D again ;)

Tbh Bora Bora goes off every day now from about 4pm. Particularly good days I find are Sundays (when you've used your pass-out from WLS), Mondays (during or after DC10), Tuesdays (after Manu Carry On), Thurs (after La Troya Carry On) and Saturdays are always good cos a lot of ppl have Saturday night off from clubbing. But you can't really go wrong any day down there.

Never heard of any pre-parties for those in PDB/Ibiza Town, most pre-parties are in San An. I don't normally bother with pre-parties, the 'main' DJ (ie so if you go to Release Yourself Pre-Party @ Mambos on a Monday it will be Sanchez) will play after sunset so from about 8pm but they normally only play for 1/2 hour to an hour and I find it too early to be out then. I prefer to have the last couple of hours down @ Bora Bora for a pre-party to wherever I'm going.

WLS used to have pre-parties @ Mambos mainly for the ppl who go to Space later Sunday evening so assume Cafe Del Mar are doing similar thing this year. Also Cafe Del Mar host the roof terrace every wk @ WLS this year for their 25th anniversary.

Thanks for chipping in again. Are the drinks prices in Bora Bora a lot cheaper that in Space? Also, do you know how long it might take to walk from the Lux Mar in Figuretas to Bora Bora, as I'm hoping to head down there as often as I can.

Bora Bora drink prices are cheaper than Space and the other big clubs, but there not as cheap as some bars. I think of them as average/slightly above average.

I think the pre-parties might start slightly later than Barbie mentioned. We went across the island to Mambo for the Deep Dish preparty in June. Sunset at that point was after 9, so the pre-party didn't really get going until 10ish. I'm not sure if that changes now that the sunset is earlier.

She's right though, in that there's nothing special about the pre-party other than a quick glimpse of one of the evening's DJs. I think Bora Bora is a better place to start your evening, or somewhere in the Port of Ibiza.

Yay drinks prices are a lot cheaper @ Bora Bora, I tend to drink wine and a bottle of wine there is about 10-15 euros (or 3 euros a glass), compare this to 8-10 euros for vodka/mixer or glass of wine in Space. Other drinks are comparable in their difference so always best to drink @ Bora Bora pre-Space or during your passout.

I'm not sure exactly where Lux Mar in Figuretas but I've stayed @ Es Vive in Figuretas and we used to do that walk regularly, takes about 20 mins and it's a nice walk along the seafront.

Christ, that price for a bottle of wine is seriously reasonable... £5 cheaper than most pubs here in London. We'll def check that out !

Lux Mar is the fat east side of Figuetas, near the tunnel to Ibiza Town aparently

I'm guessing it's 10-15 walk from Es Vive, so that'll be a good hour round trip using a pass out from Space.... We were trying to work out whether it would be worth heading back to our apartment during our pass out. Maybe bets jst to hang @ Bora
