if you want a proper decent pint, then go to Tiffany's, it's not in the west end though, it's just up the road from Kanya.
West End bars try Hush, V Club, Highlander, Viva, Play2 & Entice. Never fail to get a bit tipsy in there

I like The Highlander (I'm not even Scottish!) and Capones at the top of the hill, both have been in the West End for a long time.

capone has been taken over by the highlander peeps and renamed as shenanigans!

Itaca's also one of my favourites, serves one of the best mojitos I've had on the island, and everyone seems to be happy there. Sax and percussion sets the mood just right. The only thing that's spoiled it in recent years for me is the constant hounding by shot girls
