Best area to stay next week?

OK, subjective I know, but we are going to pop over next week for a few days, obviously taking an airbnb.

How open is the island so far? We will be driving to beaches through the days, but is it best to stay in Ibiza town for something to do at night, our do the smaller towns/resorts have plenty of stuff open?

Looking to stay in the southwest area generally.

stay close to ibiza I'd say and book something with a touristic license only.
