Whats it all about?

Is it still a hardcore techno gabba fest?

err, sorry mate but i believe it never really was a hardcore/gabber fest...

yes, it's back this year and i think it's mainly house/tech-house and trance orientated, although you also might find some harder sounds there.
 
i just meant as in extreme german techno and therefore too hardcore for my liking...

have they got any drum n funky, acid 2-step there this year :lol:

Why's that... no good?

It looks awesome it's just i'd heard it was a big techno do and i'm not a great fan of techno.

My knowledge is virtually zero i've just got pictures in my head from years ago, someone's invited us along and i want to know what i'm getting myself into

Loveparade WAS awesome IMO.... But it turned to a family happening with fathers, mummys and kids showing their kids the dancing drug-consuming people and: "As long your feet are under my table.... "

Of course there are a lot of parties in the clubs of Berlin where you can go and have a great time, also the end of the Loveparade with the meeting and dj-ing at the "Siegessäule" are awesome, but not the parade itsself.
