Bedouin presents SAGA @ Chinois 2025 - Reviews & Reports

I've been really looking forward to this especially as it moved from Pacha after 3 very successful season so I was very curious to see how their return to their original venue (albeit it was Heart then) would've have worked and I'm glad to say it didn't disappoint me.

First, even if for me this is not paramount when it comes to club nights, I like to say well done to the attention to details for the deco, every single corner has been given that Saga touch that makes it instantly recognisable if you are familiar with the brand.
I think Chinois more intimate feel really suits the party, it was pretty busy but never felt uncomfortable or pushy and you could easily get into the dancing as people were actually doing what people do or better said, should do when they go to a club, dance!!
There was very little or next to nothing of that standing around holding smartphone filming or taking photos which is so refreshing to see these days.
Up for it crowd, a bit slightly older and less "touristy" if you see what I mean, thing that unfortunately I felt started to taint the experience at Pacha last year.
Music wise it was great all night long from the opening set from Ageless then to a fantastic b2b from Jimi Jules and Trikk and to finish it off with the Bedouin guys that came on at 3:00am and filled the room with their very recognisable sound all the way to 6:00 am.
I'll be very curious to see how the season develops as there are big competitors to face on a Sunday night this year but if this is how it's going to carry on I have a very good hope.
Definitely an improvement and I'll certainly be back on numerous occasions!

You stole my thunder!

Completely agree with everything you said 👍

We got in towards the end of Ageless set and it was slowly picking up by then. Loved Trikk and Jules. A very Innervisions / Dixon type set which I love. I did recognise a few of their own tracks in there but I can't remember their names. They definitely played a remix of Whomadewho.
Bedouin like you say played their usual sound with hints of middle eastern and african elements and all very energetic and driving. I left a bit before the end as wanted to save myself for DC-10 but those who stayed told me they finished with Trentemoller mix of Les Djinns at the end.

Excellent! JJ & Trikk did play quite a few of their own productions among them Jules remix of Rufus du Sol "Music is better"
Did you use to go to Saga at Pacha? What do you think of their new(ish) home?

Yeah I did go to Saga at Pacha 2 times.

Agree with your point. This crowd was in large there for the night itself, not the venue. At Pacha it definitely felt a larger proportion where there just to see Pacha.

Also I found more space to dance in than the 2 previous times at Pacha

Saga started there ( in Heart ). Was the best venue for it and is still the best venue for it. My opinion.

I agree with everything above . To us Pacha is the worst club on the island : the design, light , water cans (crazy !) , smoking area . Yes Saga has always been our favorite party . We are so glad they moved to Chinois . We went to the opening and Bedouin was in their usual style musically . Loved every second.

Unfortunately, the water in there is in cans too :(

Any advice how to manage the water in an open can. It spills over all the time.

Whoever said Bedouin suits Chinois is spot on.

Love Pacha but this beats last year by a distance.

Chinois, with Carl Cox Closing at UNVRS, is busy and proper kicking off

Yeah. First time in Chinois and loved the club. Worried that it would be quieter with Carl Cox closing but not at all

Wife almost got kicked out by security for mistaken identity with a T-shirt thief.

Also still free pour drinks. Which I did not plan into my drink planning.

Currently sat in Little Ibiza atm trying to smoothie my way out of a little tenderness.

Surely a Bloody Mary is the way to go?

Can't do tomato, detest it apart from sauce like on pizza etc.

Passion fruit mojito now in Co Co's in Ibiza Town

without meaning to sound in anyway condensing (i have plenty of my own picky food habits!), have you tried tomatoes here (or elsewhere in the Med) recently?

I cannot stand the tomatoes which are sold in the UK. I find them disgusting. I pull the slices out of burgers and everything.
But the tomatoes here are sooooo much better. Full of flavour, less water additives. It's like an entirely different fruit

Didn't come across as condescending and I haven't tried over here due to every time I try, and I do every now and again because I want to like them, they physically make me wretch...almost like a mild allergy.

Going to try in the next few days and report my findings! If I heave it's all on you of course (pun wasn't intended) 😉
