Bed closing?

Ive just heard a wicked rumour that Bed in Sheffield is shutting indefinitely. I know that it is currently shut but i thought that it was just while they sorted out the drains. Apparently Gatecrasher are putting all their resourcrs into Crasher so theres no room for Bed :cry: :cry: :cry:
 
I was just on about it to a mate getting a consortium together 8)
hmm if only :P

Hope somebody snaps it up quick cos im missing the place already :!:
 
:) .... No one has been told officially that it is closed .......


Bed was shutting to be refurbished, but during this (right at the beginning really; in a priority area .. i.e. THE TOILETS) ... they found that petrol had been leaking from the station next door .. thus, it's gonna take longer to sort the venue.

However .. what happens to the venue is yet to be seen ...

Will it be more of a "live" venue .. and will BED move to GC1 ! Indeed, are the people at GC1 sorting their rotas for the future of GC1 ! (I think so)
 
I would think that everthing woul dhave to be re negotiated .. but am sure it will .... if it makes money of course.

Well I havent been to GC1 yet but if they are gonna be hosting some of the nights that Bed had then count me in 8)

hilarious. there is no gatecrasher anymore, they plan on doing 4 events at the republic this year and i bet 2 of them are boxing night and nye. the club has no residents either cept for nick riley.

the only part of gc that is still alive is the name of the venue.
 
I'd imagine in the pretty poor financial state GC are in they will concentrate all their time/funds on GC1. All the reports i've heard are that Bed isnt closed for refurb but just cause the drains are fubar'd.
 
Nothing official has been said yet .. one of the rumours is it's going to be a more "live" venue .. and another, that's it's shut for good ... Think I'd go with the first one!

All Bed events will be held at GC1 if this is so, surely?
