as you might know, la kokotxa is now located where siniva used to be during many years..........
 
although noon will remain closed till easter the funkin irie duo mike and sally continue with their parties at quefa martini, almost next door, every saturday starting tomorrow and featuring dj sweet boy roy!! :p

don't ask me how i know this but sweet boy roy also plays records at the sunset cafe on the plaza del parque on monday evenings!
 
last weekend aramón closed for good, after various denuncias by certain venue jealous of their success..........

.......... like last winter when another venue that jumped on the live music bandwagon end up closing down varios places due to their success, while their oh-so-cool venue was always almost empty!! :(

recently renamed as datura with marko mariotti (viper/manoa) every saturday plus guests, for example angel cielo (el ayoun/cafe del mar) last week :!:

as you might remember, before datura and les nuits bleues it used to be known as the other place and the bulldog..........

a little update: rustic has been closed during march and it reopens tonight in their temporary new location: the restaurant bahamas in playa d'en bossa (in front of the hotel of the same name and next to the restaurant nassau). peter colours will be playing there tonight :!:

some of you might remember the daytime ibiza art parties on summer 2004 (4 at gala night + 1 at kanya) which included, as reported back then by I-S, video projections, a disco, chill-out zones, swimming pool, contemporary dance, theatre, folk dancing, and body painting! And if the antics of the crick-necked DJs with twitches* don't get the customers rolling in the aisles there'll be a troupe of clowns on hand to provide the laughter right up until 6 PM. The art will be provided by painters Gabriela Moreno and Duarte Laferriere in a special exhibition room. well, ibiza art returns with an event at el sol on april 9th from 8pm :!:

on april 15th enrique domenech (fusionova 021 records) and jose maria ramon (global radio) will be at the restaurant el cocedero in playa den bossa (next to the hotel don toni) along with fire dancers, percussionists, etc!! :p

in related ibiza town news, sunset cafe in plaza del parque returns to its original size. this winter they added to the bar the shop next door in the corner (separated only by a crystal door) so people could stay in but now with the arrival of the tourist season the shop has to reopen so inside gets smaller again!! :idea:
