I'm lucky enough to be going to Barcelona on Saturday for the week, but have a couple of questions for you all first. I've looked through all the posts for recommendations about where to go, and have a load of ideas. Probably too many. But that's a good problem to have.

One of my friends who I'm going with has told me you have to wear shoes to get into the clubs (as in not trainers). Is this true?? Even for places like Catwalk, Danzatoria, Souvenir and Terrazza? Could I just wear my london uniform of smart jeans, funky t-shirt and club-friendly trainers?

Second question is whether Terrazza is open anymore and whether the noise pollution issues are resolved. Is it even open at this time of year? Or should we swerve to Fillini??

Cheers people!

When we went for NYE all the boys wore trainers/jeans etc to clubs and it was fine.

I would def recommend Fellini, we spent NYE there.

Sil mentioned to be last wk that La Terraza had reopened for a few wks so if you're lucky you may just catch it.

Your London outfit will be fine.

Never quite made it to Catwalk, but i'd expect you'd better off dressing smart but fashionable for there.

I think La Terraza is closed for the foreseable future - maybe Sil can update you (when she's over her illness)

;)

You'll be fine with jeans, t-shirt and trenddy trainers, if you are not allowed because of your trainers then it means you are in the wrong place  ;)

Re la terrazzza, it's open just for this weekend, it's their 10th anniversary and it has been closed all summer due sound restrictions, so the party really promises. But, it's raining lots, if tomorrow evening still rains don't attempt to go there cos it's totally open air
