I remember what life was like before we had to deal with prawn alerts...it was so much easier to cope.

Do you think Sil might know what to do?

At the moment I'm safe in the office, at 2pm I shall go out, I will report how is the prawn alert down Las Ramblas. Some security forces thought that some english tourists who were drinking sangría were prawns, at least they looked red like prawns

I think that was our problem yesterday, we just paniced when we were informed of the prawn alert

Christ you're right!

But it's such a big responsibility...what if we take the wrong action during a prawn alert one day? Imagine the lives that will be affected - all because we made the wrong decision.

After being caught unawares yesterday I think you're right... We were so unprepared and I still feel quite nervous about the whole thing.
