Balearic Music - Clubbing in Barcelona

Hi All,


First of all, sorry for not typing in Spanish in here, I hope you can read this in English..

I am really into that Balearic sound that almost can only be heard on the Island of Ibiza, I am listening alot to some cds from stereo productions, this iberican sound and balearica and i am enjoying some cds from Steve Lawler from some years ago.

I was wondering, does anyone here know some names of djs that play this music, the only names I have are Chus & Ceballos, Sin Plomo and some sets of Steve Lawler.

I am really into this deep tribal-like progressive - hypnotising music..

Also, I will be visiting Barcelona in the beginning of March, does anyone know a Club there that sometimes has some balearic djs playing? I will be in Barcelona with my girlfriend from 9 - 13 March..

la musica que buscas si no me equivoco la podrias encontrar en sitios con Catwalk, Fellini, Discoteque, Pacha aunque tambien podrias ir a sitios como Space.

Re to your visit to barcelona, your best choice would be Discotheque, Catwalk, Fellini or Pacha, altho Space would be another option.

Most lines up won't be announced till first week of march

Some Djs in balearic sound, as you say are Chus and Ceballos, Sin Plomo, there is also Cesar del Río, Jose de Divina, Dj Oliver.
Paul Oakenfold also has done some balearic tunes..
Some tribal-house mixes done by Danny Tenaglia, Victor Calderone.
