Bad Reputation???

Sorry to sound huffy - but does anyone else get really annoyed when people pull their face when you say you are going to Ibiza? :evil:

Sorry I wasn't clear! I mean that they turn their nose up as if Ibiza is "far too scummy" for them. They have no idea - if I did that about their choice of holiday they'd have something to say.

if they prob aint been themselves and are jealous, ppl i know slate ibiza and it pisses me off somkthnig chronic i think and where exactly is ur type a holiday??? i know what u mean now hun, but just think while we are all sunning it up and having sesh's in ibiza they will be sat on their arses wishing they were there :)

It's annoying because it's for the wrong reasons...

People assume you are going to be lewd and loutish because that's what they see on tv. I wouldn't mind so much if they thought bad of you for being 8O or not going to bed for 48 hours or being happier than they ever are etc :lol:

Are you talking about the girl-on-girl action? :D Tehe! Its always fun to try new things, but this only happened because it was new year and you have to don't you... :D
 
Just doin my bit for society Nish, its a tough job but this is one little lady that has to do it :D

My friends also look down their noses at us for going back to Ibiza year after year. When we recommend it they usually reply with something snide like "No thanks I'd rather see different parts of the world" grrrr! :evil:
 
It's obvious that Ibiza Uncovered didn't help things, but as has already been said, it's their loss.

I used to think the same thing, that it would be an ugly island with the only music being really commercial and full of Brits throwing up in the street.

Thankfully I had enough sense to make my own mind up about it.
 
It doesnt really bother me because i pull the same face when they say they are going on holiday to malia/magaluf/kos etc (delete as appropriate) and i would pull the same face if i heard that someone was coming to Ibiza to do the west end and not go to any good clubs/nights while they are there.
When my fella and I explain where we are going and they pull the face it makes us feel a bit smug 'cos inside we know we have found our perfect place, with the perfect atmosphere and perfect crowd and gonna experience the rushes and the 'moments' that they in their life they will never come near to experiencing.
