bad experience at pacha

I wouldn't worry, Pacha is a load of overhyped bollox anyway.

Nice interior and lovely restaurant tho. ;)

Sorry you had such a bad experience. :?

The bouncers have probably been asked to kick people out in order to make room for more paying customers. Money grabbing scum. I'm starting to despise the place. It has s**t nights on anyhow and has no idea what 'house' is actually about. It's certainly not about charging 30 euros for two drinks

Ibiza bouncers (not all) have never been the friendlist of people  I thought that was common knowledge.

My friend and his girlfriend went to We Love the other week. She had left her bag/purse in the club, so they both queued to go back in with their wristbands to retrieve her bag. She went in and he followed, they cut the wristbands off them and whilst he was walking in they grabbed him and told him he wasn't allowed to go in. He is the not a violent person and tried to explain that he was just going in with his girlfriend to collect her bag, Of course they didn't understand him.... He was confused as to why they weren't allowing him in??!
So he went away to wait for her beside the railings, as he walked away a bouncer punched him in the back of his head! He turned around and 5 other bouncers were standing around him... I don't think anything else happened after this. I got distracted and didn't hear the end of the story...:lol:

I hear storied like this every year. I am not shocked that this happened in Pacha.
People in general, when they have the slightest bit of aunthority, the power goes straight to their head..

Why can't people accept that the clubs do have bouncers who will pick on you for no reason? AND rude bar staff sometimes.....

I can believe that Jay didn't do anything to warrant that type of behaviour. It is true that some people let the authority do to their head right enough and they are too heavey handed.

Shocking behaviour from Pacha - I had a crap experience there too they wouldn't serve my diabetic boyfriend a diet coke! I aksed for diet they gave me normal - I said no diet and they wanted me to pay for the wrong one they gave me before they got me a diet one, cos they had opended the first bottle. Also we we went to sit down in an area and got told to "f*ck off English we have paid to sit here" (by locals?)- there was no rope to cordon off the area or anything to say people had paid to sit there - and it wasn't the VIP bit. My boyfriend and I are Scottish and we needed a seat - we had sat there for a bit went to the bar and came back for a rest - for said diabetic boyfriend.

And no before anyone says we were not agressive or acting badly in anyway to invoke this kind of treatment.

Space bouncers do my head in too.

Maybe it is to do with timing. We usually go first week(s) of September. This year, mid June.

Like grego, I have never seen one unpleasant incident with the bouncers in Ibiza. I have seen them pick someone up off the floor who had fallen head first off their buffet! No rough treatment, just took them out of the way to a chair. We have been caught with a camera several times and there was never any unpleasant attitude, just temporary confiscation.

This is in stark contrast to some horrific and frightening incidents with bouncers in the UK, although it is not so bad now they have to be registered.

I am not doubting the o.p but am suprised at the number of people who have had bad experiences.

Coz it's ****e. My mate comes back every Friday and Saturday night and has a barney with someone or a bouncer or something, after I call him a tit, there is always some story about the bouncer coming randomly up to him and hitting him etc or a fella hitting him first.

I have been out reguarly all of my life since turning 18, I'm a fella yet I have never ever been in a fight with anyone or had any trouble with bouncers. Coincidence ? I think not.

P. S. - This may be coz I look massively hard...

That sucks but in my opinion its alot to do with all the suits and "vips" in there. First of all the music is wasted on them and I believe management and staff want to be seen to be keeping us "lower classes" in order. Was in Pacha 2 weeks ago and at start of night we were pushed away and told to f**k off if we got anywhere within two metres of a rope, staircase or "vip" area.I reckon had we not backed away (for fear of getting thrown out) we may have had a similar experience to Jay! Later on when on dance floor under DJ we went nuts and no one came near us - nothing bad apart from a dancer throwing my mates phone across the club!
Also if you dont like bouncers dont come to Ireland!

these space/dc10-bouncers were "not amused" -
but still quite friendly though the red ford drove against their silver clio
on the small road to chiringay

if i hadnt been told they were bouncers i d of thought they were going cruising love there dress sense as well those jeans and combats very stylish not . id love to see these 3 on any city center weekend bouncing im telling you a group of young teens would do the lot of them.

This is not blow off anyone who has had a bad experience. I have not had a problem with the bouncers at all; saying that I go in early June when it is not full. I have seen bar staff be rude as well as clubbers be rude. I am sorry for anyone who has had a bad time I just have not had to deal with it.

Errrr...how high the bouncer on the left's trousers - with a nice little paunch hanging out over it = DONT MESS! 8O:lol:

Bouncers / bar staff are like people in general. Some you meet can make your day with their attitude. Some can ruin it.

I once bought two vodka and cokes in pacha and through my own fault split them all over the bar / bar staff.

They replaced them without asking.

I've had door men give me a break when i didn't need / deserve it- - and door men threaten to kick my head in just for trying to talk to them - (asking where i could pick up my missus' confiscated camera) - but then having another member of staff intervene to help.

I sort of expect a surliness in general simply due to human nature and the staff having to deal with huge numbers of hyped up punters.

Experiences differ as does your luck.

Given that I think it's unfair to simply state that the guy who posted must be lying just because it's never happened to you. It seems very judgemental and intolerant, which co-incidentally is the exact attitude people on here bemoan most about.

I meant in Ibiza - people don't seem to accept it's not all roses and peace and love In Ibiza and there are some bastards who work in the clubs. That what I meant....I dont mean just accept that there are arseholes who work there

I'm fully aware of the bastards in Ibiza, we've had our room broken into and robbed once, attemted mugging, beach robbed 4 seperate times, and skinny dipping robbed once. We must look like easy targets...

The one time I was caught being naughty ( not in a sexual way :p ) by bouncers ever in Ibiza was in the toilet cubical of Space, not in a sexual way, they were absolutely fine, nearly pleasant. Although, ideally you don't really want bouncers condoning this.

Exactly the same thing happened to me as the original poster a few years ago on first night of hols. Taken out the back, beaten, robbed etc. I was a bit pissed but no more than 2000 other people.

Went back the next night and saw all the bouncers who'd attacked me the night before, walked right past them and they saw me but didn't bat an eyelid or do anything. Went back another 3 or 4 nights in the next 2 weeks and also no problems, a couple of those nights i was absolutely wasted/steaming, again, same bouncers, no problems at all.

Heard many similar stories over the years.

They're just ar$eholes, they do it to loads of people completely randomly.
