bad experience at pacha

here is my report on pacha weds night 8th Aug,

I entered the club at 1:30 am and as soon as the 50 euro ticket was snatched off me and put in a box i thought here we go,
me and my friends found a space upstairs by a square shaped bar where we decided to congregate as the club is quite large and we we most probrably get split up and lose each other, after ordering a drink myself and one other friend decided to have a walk round after about 10 mins we decided to go back to the area where our friends were,
as we started to go back up the stairs one of your door staff who was quite tall with a beard looked like a rocker, started shouting no entry no entry, so i asked him which direction do i need to go to get up there to which he shoved his forearm into my nose and got on the radio, i began to walk off and at that point 4 door staff grabbed me from behind and escorted me outside, i tried to explain my situation but as they do not speak english did not want to know, i waited outside the gate and asked someone if they spoke english, to which point a door person shouted "Go home go home" then as my back was turned 4 door staff grabbed me from behind, one hand around my neck two under my arm and one on my other arm and proceeded to run my face towards the railings outside shouting "go home go home" it was only that i quickly managed to wiggle my arm free that i stopped my face from being smashed in at which point he kicked me over onto the pavement with his fist clenched threatening to punch me.
I came to Ibiza quite looking forward to attending pacha and seeing eric morrillo play and was my first visit to the island but have gone away absolutley hating the experience and the club, and as a registered SIA door supervisor in the UK i cant imagine how they can get away with this, if i had done that in the uk i would have been in the police station all night and my badge most probably revoked with a big fine or worse,
the way i see it from other people i have spoken to is that you have a 5000 capacity club which is at capacity most nights so if your door staff throw people out for little or nothing you get the £60 euros from the customers paying to get in who cant get in because its full,
As i said i am looking to take legal action against the club as i find this totally unacceptable and am thorougly dissapointed with pacha and there security as i thought that pacha was THE place to be and is the spiritual home of house music, i must of been very wrong.

yeh i mem seing that bearded bouncer - pacha is only good for the first 2-3 times - the lack of alcohol (unless youre a multi millionaire) makes it a flat experience. - i dont know but you may have walked into the tunnel that is for staff only - its stupid becasue this tunnel has no 'staff only' or no entry anywhere so pacha newbies can easily wonder in - i was told quite politely by a fairly old bouncer to turn around and walk out but getting violently kicked out like that is disgraceful! U should certainly take pics of any bruses etc... maybe try n get someone to wirte a spanish letter to pacha asking why they have done this etc....
 
That's very bad luck! I never saw any trouble in my time in Pacha, but that is a shocking way to treat people.

The only rude Bouncers we encountered were at space on Sunday, I guess you could say they were just being efficient, but they were very heavy handed hurrying people in and out of the doors.
 
yea i mean i was so looking forward to going there, if i only went to 1 club i said it had to be pacha, and to be honest i have never heard any bad reviews about it beforehand, the words that i wrote above i actually sent to someone at pacha i just copied and pasted into the forum to show you guys, and i also sent a picture of my brusies too so i will just see what happens, i actually know about 6 other guys who were punched in the face and kicked in the head and litterally dragged through thier kitchen out the back on the same night as this, well heavy handed, i could understand if i was well pissed up, top off, giving it the large but i had only had a bottle of sol and that day i didnt drink as i wasn't feeling too good from the food! just really dissapointed that this was my first visit and all that happened!

That's certainly a bad experience. Keep us informed on any feedback you receive from Pacha, and ensure you chase them up for a reply.

I have only ever had pleasant experiences at Pacha and this year was no exception. Perhaps I have never had any hassles with door staff as I am at the older end of the clubbing age spectrum?!

Don't let this put you off, it is definitely the exception rather than the norm.
 
yea i will let youknow of the outcome, i myself am 27, and have been clubbing since the age of 14, run my own nights in the uk and have been doing the doors around london for a few years too, so i can tell the danger signs, flash points etc but this was just unprovoked and there was no need for it, but i will let you all know what happens, cheers guys for the support! well appriciated!!
 
i'm glad you weren't injured too badly, but it really sucks you had to go through such an experience- btw what happened to the rest of your group? were they also kicked out of the bar/meeting point area? just curious because it sounds like pacha probably cordoned off the area you were originally at for puff daddy or some wanna-be 'vip' - which is really what pacha is all about
 
Mate, if a bouncer just randomly came up to you and chucked you out then your very unlucky. However, I think it is rather more likely you are omitting some key incidents in this story which may have led to your ejection from Pacha.
 
to be honest mate your claim against the club will be lost before it gets there, i understand that its a bad experience and i feel for you, however these things happen, maybe your face just didn't fit!
