I thought I'd be a good housewife and I washed some towels, I also chucked a pair of Tom's Rifts in with them. Then I kind of forgot about them for a day and then remembered about them so whacked the tumble dryer on.

2 hours later I opened the washer/tumbler dryer and the first thing that came out were Tom's Rifts (which I'd completely forgotten about 8O )

They had shrunk and half of them had melted 8O 8O 8O

So Tom comes home and I have to explain to him that I've had a little accident and I show him his poorly Rifts :? 8O and I'm trying to justify my actions going 'they're a really old pair aren't they so it doesn't matter??!' and Tom goes 'it doesn't matter, they are an old pair' so I'm thinking I've got out of this one and then he goes in this sad little voice 'but they're also my fave limited edition pair that I can't get anywhere else' 8O :lol:

I'm still freelancing so I work when I want to :lol: ;) Altho I've accepted a permanent job to start after Ibiza 8O

Can't you give him the pelican beak as a substitute?
He seemed to like it on Sunday.

I reckon one look at that and the Ltd editions would be a distant memory.

Just a thought.

(Perhaps I should just stop thinking because it would appear I'm incapable of ever coming out with anything sensible.)

Hehe, tbh I've worked most of the summer (there's a couple of Marketing agencies that always request me) but if I fancy a few days off (so it doesn't interfere with my wkends :lol: ) I just tell them I'm not available ;)

It's for a Marketing Agency working on the Camelot account which I think will be really interesting, esp as they're supporting the 2012 Olympics.

I might have a dilemma on my hands tho cos I decided only to go for interviews if I really wanted the job which I did with that one but I've also got a 3rd interview on Thursday for another job I really want (another Marketing Agency working on health and beauty account and DVD account) and if they offer me job as well then I don't know what I'll do :?

Mine too, but I am an American so I have an automatic direct ticket to Heaven (don't even have to connect in Dallas), because God blesses America (or at least that's what Bush says!).

I washed a pair of leather rifts as a last resort to get them smart again - they came out all faded and ruinned too :lol: :lol:
