Well here goes with the latest installment of my holidays to Ibiza.

We had a nice early morning flight from Gatwick so taxi picked us up, thru check-in in record quick time and after the customary quick run round duty free (Tom - why do you need so much girlie $hit :spank::lol:) we settled down for a couple of drinks before boarding. Nice unevenful flight to Ibiza and as we landed, despite us being there more times than is good for our health, welfare and sanity we both have a simulatenously eeeeeeeeeeeeeek moment :D

Picked up luggage and made the traditional stop at Passion for 'Welcome to Ibiza smoothies and wine'. We were staying in a private apartment in PDB and meeting the owner early afternoon, I wasn't exactly sure of the location but from speaking to her knew it was close to Space and Passion so sounded perfect us. We met the owner and the location couldn't have been better - we were right on the beach at PDB (but far enough down for it to be quiet) and yet only 2 mins walk from Passion and Space. Then when we thought life couldn't get any better we found out that our usual pizza delivery service was living opposite us - pizza delivery had never been so quick and easy :D

The Saturday was actually our 3 month wedding anniversary so after watching the first half of the Chelsea game in Tantra (I'm such a good wife ) we headed to Es Codolar beach. This was where we had got married 3 months earlier and the setting is just beautiful. We settled ourselves on one of the comfy beds with a bottle of rose and Tom was chuckling that the hammock we'd accidentally broken on our wedding was no longer there  At the same time this bloke came up to us (who I was just going to tell Tom was the spitting image of Danny Krivit ) and it turned out it was the owner and he'd recognised us and brought back our wedding music CD which we'd left and welcomed us back to his restaurant - I was dreading he was going to mention the 'hammock incident' but instead he guaranteed us one of the best tables in the restaurant for dinner and was most lovely. We watched a beautiful sunset with Es Vedra in the background and then went for dinner at Cap des Falco. Had the most amazing meal (buffalo mozarello to start followed by the best tuna I've ever eaten and spaghetti and mussels for Tom) and then Amaretto to finish (the manager left the bottle on the table for me and as anyone knows leaving me with a bottle of Amaretto is a bad move :spank:). Then as it is near on impossible to get a taxi back from Es Codolar the owner arranged for one of his friends who was in the restaurant with his family to take us home so we end up in the back of a 4x4 with a Spanish family as I'm trying to talk to their 7 year older daughter - never has 'Mi madre tiene pelo maron' being so useful

After a few nightcap Baileys on our balcony we headed into bed in readiness for Space. After a yummy Passion breakfast we got changed and then headed into Space for 3pm, no real queue and headed onto the sunset terrace. I thought the sunset terrace was absolutely fantastic this week - since the old terrace was RIP I've sometimes found it has taken a while for the sunset terrace to find it's feet but it absolutely hit the nail on the head this week - proper sunset terrace music at it's best and lots of happy smiley hands up in the air moments :D We saw Groove Armada inside when the sunset terrace closed who were really good until the last 15 minutes (I'd just said to Tom that GA are much better these days that the Superstylin' monkeys of old') and then as if in cue they brought out those GA 'classics' like Superstylin' and I see you Baby :spank::lol: We left soon after Tiechwarz who aren't really my bag and took the 2 min walk back to our apartment and minxed around with Katie

On Monday we headed over to San An Bay and watched another lovely sunset at Khumaras and then ate in the restaurant there (veggie thai roles to start and seabass for me and pork for Tom and more Amaretto) and then an early night cos we wanted to go to Formentera the following day.

Up nice and early and got the quick boat to Formentera where we got a taxi (FLS moi ) to Playa Mitjorn and settled there for the day. The beach was absolutely deserted for hours and we had a lovely chilled day sunbathing and lunch at the Blue Bar. We got back early evening and went for drinks before Danny T @ Space and were given free wristbands to get into Space. We got in just before 10pm and just El Salon was open before they opened the new Terrace where Danny came on about 12.30pm. Just after 2pm he announced that 'the party is moving inside' which confused me no end (doesn't take much ) so we headed inside to Josh Wink who was ok but well he's not Danny T is he  Then Danny T came back on and played a blinder til close. I enjoyed both of Danny's sets but for me the whole point of Danny T is that he plays long sets (I don't think I've ever seen him play less than 6 hours at a time) and I personally would have preferred it if he'd just played one longer set (he is obviously following the same format as Carl Cox does for his night but not sure that it is the best route for him to take but what do I know ).

We had a couple of hours down at Bora Bora on Wednesday and then in the evening went to KM5 for drinks and dinner and had an amazing meal there (buffalo mozarello and salmon for me and steak for Tom) and plenty of wine.

Woke up on Thursday knowing that new recruits were going to start coming in thick and fast now so spent the day at Bora Bora meeting up with my friend Nancy from Holland plus Ferd and his Barry and some of their friends. We headed to Marcos in Figuretes with everyone for dinner and then got taxis to Cream. I'm waaaaay too old for trance but we went into the main room to start with for Ferry Corsten who was pretty good and pulled out some classics, then unfortunately one of our party had a 'poppers incident' - I'll leave him to explain :twisted::lol:;) I used this as my escape get out and we moved onto the terrace so I could see my beloved Swedes as Axwell and Ingrosso were playing back to back who were just fab. After a hair raising journey back we all headed back to our apartment for aftershow antics where things went horribly right/wrong  Rob, Erin and Dan arrived that morning and as it was a cloudy day it would have been rude for them not to come round for some 'welcome to Ibiza' antics

I have vague recollections of our surrogate children Jon and Bec arriving to stay at our apartment Friday night and then the next thing I knew it was Saturday morning which means 'Rise and Shine it's Matinee Time' :D Everyone came round to ours for 8am hierrbas shots and we headed into Matinee just before 10am (fortunately just missing a massive downpour). Matinee was as fab as ever - where else can you hear a 'Gay Children', a 'Gay Bullet in the Gun' and the highlight of the day a 'Gay She's a Maniac':lol::lol: I think Saturday daytimes at Space are the most fun you can have with your clothes on :D We headed back to the apartment for a few wines and then finished the night off at Bora Bora and then counted down to midnight when Tom hit the big 30 :D

After initial birthday celebrations we knew we had to hit the sack in readiness for WLS. After Tom's Birthday Breakfast at Passion we got changed and headed into Space late afternoon. I enjoyed the Sunset Terrace this week but not as much as the previous week (I think it needed a Jonathan Ulysses or Tom Novy set and neither played ). We used our passouts just before the sunset terrace closed and then came back in for Andy Cato who was just brilliant, then saw a bit of Zabiela (who was suprisingly good) and then Fancuilli who was as rubbish as ever :spank: Felix da Housecat played the last set inside which was undoubtedly one of the sets of the holiday for me and we were all still screaming 'one more' at 7am Monday morning before we took our battered bodies back to our apartment for aftershow shenanigans which all went horribly wrong after an impromptu visit from the pizza delivery man with free pizza all round for Tom's birthday - Happy 30th Birthday Tom :spank::twisted::lol:

Therefore Monday was one of those write-off days in Ibiza and the next thing we know it's Tuesday morning. As it was all our last full day we caught a few rays down at Bora Bora before our final outing to Danny T and a farewell to Jon and Bec  We had free wristbands again to get into Space so got in at 10pm, couple of drinks and the new terrace was opened and Danny came on about 12.30am - as the previous week Danny was entertaining us with his dancing and mic action :lol: When he finished at about 2.15am we had a drink on the sunset terrace so as to avoid Digweed  who was playing inside and then headed inside for a final blowout to Danny. The next few hours were some of the most twisted - I don't know what Danny was doing to my head but I was loving it :lol: Let's hope these rumours of a residency come true for next year :D We finally left at 7.30am as we needed to get a taxi to airport at 8am  When we arrived at the airport the Thomson flight to Gatwick was flashing my favourite word in the Spanish dictionary - DEMORADO  so we checked in and then braved the scary terminal in all sorts of states. After a few wines and endless tales of amusement (cheers Dan ;)) which passed the time, we were finally allowed to board and then just before take-off we were told that someone had checked in luggage to the flight but wasn't onboard so they were going to have to take off all the suitcases (noooooooooooooooooooooo - why are these things sent to try us :spank:). Eventually took off and then the next thing I hear is we're approaching Gatwick but won't be landing for a while cos of a 'Bird Strike' :spank: Finally we landed and between us all managed to get thru passport control and collect our luggage before the taxi journey home.

So that's it for another 8 months  As always the company, the clubbing, the 'nice things' and the things that will never be repeated  made the holiday all it was and more......so all that's left to say is 'Adious til next June' :D

Hello, I saw you & Tom in the q for space (you were there when it pi$$ed down?) - was coming up, freaked out & did not say anything tho - was annoyed with myself! glad to see you had a good time.

This is the moment - you were about 5 yards behind us. I am behind the camera.

Was that on the 23rd (just as we got in the queue :spank:)
