Awesome Planet Funk - Chase The Sun Remix sample inside

I'm just saying that in common UK clubbing culture the phrase 'back in the day' is a bit of a tongue in cheek reference to a very specific time and that's what I thought you were referring to, it's just a bit of English/Yank confusion of terminology, you know like 'handball' and 'armball' ;)
You were wrong. Drop it!

Last word!

right on Morbyd!

and Stephen, I feel I must point out that I found your spekky comment mildly offensive.

philip, which bit? where i said welcome, where i called the forum a madhouse, or where i contracted spektrum's name?

Yup, I followed wrongly Dam0 though the door after he battered it down. I was dim Danielle to his Jade Goody. So, it´s not really my fault, he´s a much stronger character than me, I´m easily led etc etc:lol:

Ok spek but imo that song is an amateur production so you'll prob have more luck searching on acidplanet etc. It's got to be a bootleg because i doubt an unknown remix of that quality would be approved for release. Do you have any more information? What radio station? Who played it out etc.

I heard it in ministry in london a couple of weeks ago as well as on DI FM radio. I have searched many places but can still not find anything. Maybe its not been released or in't going to be released? what makes you think its amateur?

thanks

good answer badger

Spektrum; Its just the choice of instruments and sound quality. Generally, a well produced track will create a 'wall of sound' which is much fuller sounding to the ear. This one sounds a little on the thin side. The percussion is also a bit sketchy and just hits straight out of a sample cd. There's nothing tying the mix together. It only sounds warm because of using a good sample to remix.

Just my opinion though... maybe i'm wrong 8)

As for hearing in ministry. What night was it? There was a release that was hyped for anjuna beats but i assume there was a copyright issue so didnt go ahead. Thats more trancy though but could have been slowed down. They all sound the same because nobody does much about changing the original loop.
