'Avin' It Married Style... Err... Honeymoon 2003

I've been working on a masterpiece-theatre stylee review, which may very well also join the ranks of that novel I never published... But I thought I'd at least say that Mr D and I had another banner year in Ibiza -- safely unique, as this was the only trip for either of us that also qualified as a honeymoon :p

Brief highlights included finally making it to Space (vamos a Space!, multiple spacegasms), the lovey-dovey grassroots feel of Pin-Up (although I'd still rather pay an extra euro per drink to have a proper toilet to wazz in; that being said, I was still happier at Pin Up than Pacha!), learning that children have no place on any future vacations of ours, the ladies of the dj business shine on (Smokin Jo & Jo Mills... need I say more?) and that ice cannon at amnesia.... Hoo-wah. Also, never underestimate the power of some basic efforts at speaking Spanish. Although I must say by day 7, my Spanish skillz were seriously impaired. And pretty much over.

Really, there should be more to come, but I thought I'd get the quick stuff out there.

(Also, we were both amazed that on our first night there, Mr D found himself having a laugh with two friendly folks on the terrace at Pacha only to find out hours later it was Jannica and Dance4Life... What a small world! :D )

Yay Jannica and Dan said they'd met you, sorry we missed you that night

They're wonderful. Mr D (who just learned where the "paragraph making button" is on the keyboard after we met last year) is still really blown away by how amazing it is that you can really have nights out with people you've just known on here!

As it turned out, we were right down the street from Es Vive at the Sirenis Jabeque... Which gets 4 stars for the power of the air con alone ;)

Tom couldn't believe the number of people we met from here, he kept going how many of you lot are there :p ;)

I figured you'd be in Space on the Sunday but didn't know what you's looked like so figured it was going to be quite difficult to recognise you :p ;)
