Aspartame Question for those who packed up smoking

Can I just add on the back of this - other smoking dangers.

I was saying on a different thread that Phil's had had bad toothache. He has been x rayed and prodded and poked and has discovered that he has to see a periodontist as his bone and gums are diseased through years of smoking. Apparently, smoking other than causing lung and heart disease also causes periodontal disease. Tobacco is one of the most significant risk factors.

Its cost £250 so far this week in x rays and antibiotics - he's really really ill - hasnt eaten since Sunday properly - other than soup..... Luckily they can treat this but its going to cost a f******* fortune...

So, if any of you are thinking of packing in - then consider teeth and gum disease as a reason...

Gosh Pups, that sounds painful. Does he still smoke? If so, has it given him the impetus to stop?
 
did anyone watch Horizon about drugs? I was chuffed with 18 :lol: anyway cigarettes should have been much higher on the list!

Put it this way - he's buying an atomizer this weekend :lol::lol::lol:

He is definately going to pack in smoking - I will try to help him to do so.

He said he was giving me a chance to pack in first as 2 of us in the same house packing in at the same time last year was most probably a recipe for disaster :lol::lol::lol::lol:
