different people told me about it during the last days and this message on facebook confirms it:

I heard the people from Zoo project boycotted the night on many different levels and their war tactics have seemed to work ... no more As one in gala night anymore I'm afraid ... so much for the island of peace & tolerance !!!!!

NEWS FLASH:

AS ONE IBIZA 2009 at Gala night has been cancelled largely due to problems regarding another promoter at the same venue who thinks he owns the rights to electronic dance music in Ibiza. He has tried many times to stop us from putting on our event at Gala Night ever since we were offered the opportunity by the venue owner last year. He didn't want us to play any kind of Techno or House music and he even tried to stop us from promoting our event using posters and flyers (amongst many other things).
Having made it virtually impossible for us to sell tickets by threatening the ticket outlets as well as ripping down our posters and telling people we are fraudsters who have stolen their concept (hello?) we now have no venue to host and showcase our fantastic line ups of promoters, DJs and acts that would have otherwise brought to Ibiza a wider spectrum of underground and cross-over dance music we all love to share - and in the sunshine too.

So please bear with us whilst we find another venue (or possibly even a couple of venues) which will enable us to carry on uniting people who love dance music and who just want to be AS ONE in the sunshine.

In the meantime, please join our AS ONE group whilst we try and bring back some of the love and freedom that Ibiza is supposed to be renowned for... and we're sorry to all the people that have supported us so far but we're still here and ready for action. Just perhaps a we tad stronger and even more determined than before ; 0 )

After just 2 weeks our party was stopped and having had no venue to host and showcase our fantastic line ups over the last few weeks we have had to cancel most of our bookings and move forward as best as we can. Thankfully the lovely people at Aura have given AS ONE a great opportunity to continue every Monday at AURA.

So join us on Monday 27th July as we re-launch the AS ONE fiesta to help us bring back some of the love and freedom that Ibiza is supposed to be renowned for.

We're extremely sorry to all the people that have supported us so far and bought tickets but we're still here and ready to continue. We're now just a tad stronger and even more determined than before ; 0 )
