Armin and Roger - Tuesdays Amnesia

I went last night and Armin made the terrace his own. The atmosphere was electric. When I get back I'll post a review but the terrace is made for trance. I fell in love with that room last night.

Unbelievable night!!
Roger was amazing! The best Release Yourself Party I attended in Ibiza so far! Better then last year and in 2008 in Pacha. Great vibe, more housy and tribal music (Roger kind of returns to his roots) and a great show with fireworks and the full ice cannon power:D
Perfect idea to switch the rooms!
 
Hopefully back to Pacha! Amnesia is a great venue, but not the perfect crowd for him! Especially because the mix with the Trance crowd!
However, I had a blast at Release Yourself @ Amnesia this year!

Not sure he'd go back to Pacha (or they'd have him back)....
Maybe he'll be part of Come Together @ Space.... though I seem to have everyone ending up there.... so that's probably unlikely too! Though a bit of Roger on the Sunset would go down well! :lol:
 
I actually never understood why Sanchez would leave Pacha for Amnesia's terrace 2 years ago. That was a bs move to begin with! It was obvious release yourself wouldn't work over there. You have to be crazy to mix your own sexy/stylish-proclaimed party with Armins trance crowd (which is about 95% male and...well.. not very sexy :lol: ) in a crap place like Amnesia.
Don't think Pacha will bring him back this year, though. I mean are there still people out these days who would pay 50 euros for an 8 hour Sanchez solo set at Pacha when you could see Guetta, the Swedes, Morillo or the Cadenza guys for the same money??

Maybe! Though not sure this would fit in with San An/Eden crowd either. Will be interesting to see where he ends up..

Agree! Space really needs a commercial night - But when would they fit it in?????
The only potentials are Monday (who'd go up against Sven, Swedes and Tiesto)? Or Saturday? And nobody who is commercial will be be Ibiza on a Saturday they'll be making money in other places....like Leeds / other northern towns.....

Also want about Funkagenda! He could fill LaTerraza!!!!
 
space tride a commercial night on a sat they had hed kandi and that didnt last there seems to be a lot of moving around going on at space already but i cant seen roger going there my self all though would be good on the sunset terrace.
 
With the exception of guetta and the swedes at Pacha I think the days of one DJ being popular enough to fill a whole club every week are long gone. Space is so big it needs at least 3-4 headliners a night to get busy.
 
There will always be commercial names who will fill venues... and there will always be the underground parties who will need more than one name to fill the club...

and one more thing...when Richie Hawtin or Luciano are headlining how many people are going to hear Gaiser or Ernesto Ferreyra respectively ??? ;)
 
Agreed but can't see Roger filling space. It's such a bug club even Coxy needs extra headliners. That's what always makes clubbing in Ibiza special for me, you can walk from one room to another and there are world class DJs everywhere.

At atomicjam bham's minus showcase last year Gaiser was actually the flavour of the night over Richie n Magda according to myself and many others
