Have any of you been to both Armada and Cream? Which one did you like better? Is the music or crowd better at one than the other? What are the differences and similarities? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!!

Here you go

Both are parties in one of the best clubs in the world.

One attracts beer boy ****ers and is over filled beyond belief every single time to the point where you are literally climbing over people to move round in the main room.

The other plays trance. [enough said]

If I was to pick one it would be Armada but there are far better nights to attend. Try Cocoon on Monday mate!!!

Armada & Cream are both great parties if you like trance.
Really depends on the djs you like.(check the calendar)

Armada has more room to dance, not so packed.great atmosphere, no beer boys.
Cream is great too, packed, but it's ok (seriously it's more difficult to breath at Pacha in August!) only a few beer boys. It's a blast!

musicwise, it's both trance, but cream is a bit more "hands in the air" than armada. some people would say cream might be more cheesy and armada is a bit more progressive sometimes.

crowdwise, as others here said: armada is a bit less crowded while cream is mostly packed. and armada seems to attract less beer-boys.

Cream nights with Paul van Dyk imho are unbelievable, great sets, great vibe. Cream nights with other DJs are touch and go, can be good, can be so-so.

Armada nights: Armin is the main reason we´re there. The other djs (be it Markus or whoever) is nice-to-have, but Armin sets there are really nice.

never really noticed that Cream-"beerboy problem" that is so often mentioned on spotlight, to be honest.
Cream is packed pretty much every time, Armada last year had apparently some not-so-full nights. When we´ve been to Armada though it was packed, too.

other difference for me: Cream costs 38-42 Euro in presale, Armada at max 20,- ? And so far we´ve either picked up free entry flyer for the Armada nights (even for the closing in 2004) or have been GListed.
