are we too old?

when you are older than the Santa Claus dude in Pacha vip EVERY NIGHT!!!!!

then you are too old

and not before

me and my mates are all in our thirties. we did 9 clubs in 7 days last year. Anyone under 30 have the pace or stamina for that? 8O

i am 44 now but still look and feel young...i love it now that now one asks me to go in a bar.is it cause i know them all over the years.or they thing it will lower the tone of the place..its nice to walk round and be free.

ibizagal you;re right without us how would they know what to do.it would be nice to get an old skool meeting in ibiza.i know people like suepink has said that are in there 80s 90s.who have been going since the early 70s.when some areas just had two hotels.

its nice to have a really good mixture of people.pity no one is thinking of us...its all geared up for the youth of today...wished i had bought that bar now in playa den bossa.just for adults no kids....somewhere to relax and chat with artists and music..

thats one thing missing in ibiza.unless you go into town

Jeez at 47 am I the oldest one on here? I still love to go clubbing and I do manage 3 or 4 club nights each time we go out. I prefer the trancy stuff though so there's not much choice - Gatecrasher and Armarda this year I think.

I think "our" age is catered for to some extent with the chill-out, spots such as Kumharas and CDM, though the nice thing about these places is that there's such a good mix of people and ages. Used to love Sugar Sea too but I'm waiting to see what the new boulevard has done to it.

An older adult-themed jazz/comtemporary music bar would be very cool. I'm just a lottery win away from setting one up :)

Just flew back from Ibiza today, I'm 36 and it was my 4th time. Ended up going to what was Gala Night at that disused zoo in the hills near San An - full of young madly dressed workers that made me feel slightly overdressed (didn't realise it was a beach party!), but bloody good fun.

My friend who tagged along however (35) got less out of his trip, he was always moaning like my dad used to! He's into heavy rock, so there's only that bar in the west end that caters for him..

Never too old!

It was odd this year, Bora Bora is no more (well it's still there, but half empty as they don't play any music), Amnesia was closed too.

never to old

i'm 31 in two weeks and a single mum and i partied hard every night. i was there when the sun went down and when it came back up. Your never to old for ibiza. i did however nearly collapse twice when i got back home so make sure you have a few more days to recover. Felt my age last week i can assure you. You only live once. :)

No you can't Stephen and as a moderator you should know better, either translate it or put it in the Spanish Forum! :)

if you really are 316 years of age then possibly.

:roll::lol:

The reality is that Club/EDM culture is youth oriented, so a lot of club nights are filled with young kids - teens to early 20s - which is as it should be. However, you are not too old. I am 35, and cannot wait to go back to Ibiza (September). I went for the first time last year with the same fear, but found that overall I fit in quite nicely - age has nothing to do with appreciating Ibiza :) Keep an open mind, talk to strangers, and explore. San An can be good or bad, it is what you make of it. I actually enjoyed a few pre/post drinks around the west end - it can be a laugh, and I found it was good for a cheap clubbing night in that drinks are cheap, and (certain nights) they give away passes to Eden/Paradais - two clubs I wouldn't pay to go to, but for free....
