Same here, Sandi, and I do charge with most of the homeworks, cos he earns much more than me but he does spend much more hours at work than me![]()

I do budgets. I like budgets. I like to budget how much we (together) spend each month on going out and eating out, how much on regular expenses (rent, groceries, cell phone), how much we save (for future trips, rainy day etc.). Sometimes budgets work, sometimes they don't. Sometime you buy extra stuff. That's all I meant earlier.
For people who don't think up concrete budgets, you probably have a mental one that limits your spending. If not, you'd be broke.

I budget in a loose fashion because much of my job is dealing with finance so it's comes naturally.
Our outgoings are quite large, despite having no debt (apart from mortgage) so we have to keep in touch with what we spend. It's so easy to let your spending run away, especially when a woman is involved![]()
Woman are not all bad though - they are much better than us guys at spotting bargains![]()
Even when going round the supermarket, she'll say "there's 7p off this" and i'm like "so funking what? we don't even eat that"![]()

Go and spend 24 hours shopping with Pep and my best friend Alex and you are not going to make such a comment never again in your life![]()

Short answer is "no idea" easy come easy go - that's me.......
Drew said:Nah, i'd imagine they spend big but rarely like myself.
Like Morbyd said, women tend to spend on lots of inexpensive things that add up i.e. things that we cannot understand why they need.
It's not a matter of worry... it's just having some control over your finances so that you can afford to do more things you want to do. Life's too short not toBarbie said:I don't and I'm not. I couldn't tell you from one week to another how much is in our bank, how much bills are, how much we get paid etc, as long as money is in the bank and we're in no debt then life's too short to worry about budgets imo.
