Are ibizan clubs still the best clubs in the world?

In recent years the ibizan clubs have often been judged as the best clubs in the world for their size, soundsystems, etc, etc...

Do you all still think this is the case?

If not, where do you think the best clubs are? London?
 
British clubs are normally in-comparable to even the least-good clubs in Ibiza...though I haven't been to Pacha or Fabric, and a few other possibilities
 
Ibiza is unique and so are Ibiza's clubs (the "special" ones at least, I'm not talking about San An), so they're head and shoulders above the rest of the world. As for the rest, the London club scene simply doesn't do it for me anymore, the places where I'm having the best time are Catwalk (Danzatoria) and sometimes Discotheque in BCN and Buckingham and Cielo in NY.
 
No, i think the new clubs in America are better, and Stereo in montreal from what i've heard.
 
How do you define 'best'?

There is nothing to dc10 yet this is one of my favourite clubs in the world.

Nicki's Beach in Miami has to be up there as well. Although it rarely goes off during the day (WMC been the exception to the rule).

Its actually known as Nicki's Beach. One of the owners daughters was killed and he named the club in her honour. Fact.

There is an 'inside' club that is bigger than km5. I would definitely say its more of a club than bar.
 
I think The Arches in Glasgow is the best club I have ever been in, purely for atmosphere, but sound system wise, I have never experienced anything like the main room at Space, it's my favourite room on the entire planet.
 
It's pretty subjective really - what's more important: venue, soundsystem, dj roster, crowd, or geographic location (Space would be nothing if it was located in Hackney!)?

I think Ibiza clubs are still the best for the following reasons:

1. Everyone there (with a couple of exceptions) is on holiday, so the atmosphere is always awesome (and messy)!
2. Sunshine! Nothing beats dancing in the sunshine to quality house music
3. The DJs - petering of in recent years, but I still think it's name as the 'DJ mecca' of the world is justified.

Having said that, I've yet to go clubbing in Miami or the West coast of the USA.. although most of my american mates like the crowds in europe more..

YES THEY ARE :!:

It is a different story to go to your club every weekend than once in a year. When you fly to Ibiza and go clubbing in Pacha you really are there to party :!: And so is everybody. When there is a club full of dedicated clubbers from all over the world it really is different :twisted:

We have good clubs in many places but not that unique atmosphere. IMO

Most definitely!

For all the reasons that were mentioned above and then some!

Nothing beats Amnesia, Space, Privilege and even Pacha :twisted:
 
why would you say london though??????

Out of the whole of the uk ive never heard of people talk about how good the venues are really. If i was going to mention a good venue in the uk i would say Air in birmingham. ive never been there but never heard a bad thing about it with regards to the venue and the sound and light system

ive been there a few weeks ago and it say NiKKI beach,....also thehome page say niKKI....
btw: have you been to the restaurant beside, pearl,..?
 
I can only judge from the atmosphere of the places I´ve been to in Scandinavia, N.Y, L.A, Toyko, London ect. and by far I think Ibiza has the best of the best to offer. Tokyo has some spacey places too tho!
 
to be fair ive not been to many countries really so cant say.
But AMNESIA has gotta take some beating
