Are cameras/small camcorders allowed in the clubs?

I cant wait to go to Ibiza and was wondering if cameras/ small camcorders allowed in clubs especially Amnesia and Space and other clubs as well? This will be my first time there and i want to capture everything to show my friends when i get back.

Last time I went to Ibiza I took a digital camera with me (risky I know, but nothing happened to it). I managed to get it into every club, even space and they are notoriously anti cameras. I was blatantly holding the camera up and filming everything during steve lawlers set and no one said anything. I think next time il be more discreet though just in case. I think its best to take a few disposable cameras out with you and before u go into the club just stick it down ur trousers or just keep it in your pocket.
 
What if i were to hide it in my pocket? I have a small camcorder (a little bigger than a deck of cards) and the camera is quite smaller than that. Are there security at the door just like there are in the U.S.?

Yeh there is security on the doors and inside the clubs. I suppose its just pot luck...If ur lucky like i was then you will get away with it and get loadsa quality pictures and footage, if ur unlucky they could confiscate it off u and you'll never see it again or put it in a locker and charge u to get it out again. Depends whether u wanna risk it.
 
I personally wouldn't bother unless you have a photo pass, ie have cleared it with them beforehand.

You do see a lot of people taking pictures who clearly don't have such a pass, especially in Space, but if a bouncer catches you doing this, it will be taken off you. Normally it's hard to even get a camera through the door as this is what they are looking for when the search is conducted. If you have a bag, it is highly likely it will be searched.

Last year I had a photo pass at Amnesia (for Cocoon) and even so got some very dirty looks from the bouncers when I was taking pictures in the VIP area. Infact, I was nearly bundled to the groud for trying to take a photo over the balcony! :evil: Priviledge are also quite funny about pictures.

Basically, if you want to try to take one in, I'd take a cheap, disposable camera so if it's taken off you, it's not such a disaster.

how can i get such a photo pass or who can get it? how much cost it? :?:

By which he means ... Wimpers will code the MMS stuff in rainy dull Belgium why I, Sampler, will sadly have to enjoy We love Space opening and the benifits of Ibiza and work very hard making pictures with my mobile while dancing away and drinking a fantastic coctail...

Someone has to test it in real live, and i agree i'm the victim, but i must admin, i have Wix from dance-industries supporting me in dancefloor bouncing , vodka redbull ordening, borabora table dancing and nudeswimming , maybe he even supports me in the KM5 sofa chillin and babe observation, depends on our balance between alcohol and blood

Aah i know its though.Very heavy job... Babelooking .. vodka swallowing .. table bouncing ..lying for hours in a chill out room ..nipping giant cocktails .. yep ..its hard work , but someone has to do it ..

So it might as well be me :D
