Apartments Playa Sol

I love reading your twos conflicting reports on things :lol: ;)

Well we're seeing you for drinks on Friday aren't we plus lunch on Sunday so no doubt we'll be using our bestest powers of persuasion ;)

Jon, I can't see it being next week if they've just agreed price, have you exchanged contracts yet??

Sar - we might not be able to do friday... it's one of my friend's birthdays so we might be doing a trip up Romfooorrrrrddd for a very classy night out.
Definately up for the Faimly Roast on sunday though if everyone else is?!

Sara i hate being a let down but will probably have to cancel Friday :( we'll be around sunday evening tho :D

The worry about the house is both parties don't have a chain attached so I dont know how that affects things.

That's the main reason for be moving my stuff out this week so I dont have to worry about it if it's close to global.

All I know is the price was aggred last week, fingers crossed a date wont be until august sometime

No probs re Friday, but Sunday is def on, said to Tom bout it last night and he thought a Lock Tavern trip is def in order :D ;)

If there's no chain involved it's easier and both parties will agree a date which is convenient for them, you're not waiting around for others.

You exchange first and then generally complete a week after (altho you can do it sooner or later) so if you haven't exchanged yet and there's no complicated chain involved it will prob be August, fingers xd anyway ;)
 
just going back to the origianal qustion.

I dunno weather to go for Jet apartment for these playa sol aparts..

Bec, Jet imo are def not 3* and don't justifty what they cost, the only thing going for them is their location, inside they're very basic.
 
Playa sol on expedia say they are 1* :roll:

I not bothered about hotel, we'll spend 90% of time out of it anyway either relaxing on the beach, or clubs and bars or sar and tom's hotel floor

Hmmmm we'll see about that...!

Anyway, so we have a choice of Playa Sol apartments for £180 each, but the flights are crap.... or Jet Apartments for £240 each, with good flights...

What dya reckon? :roll:

playa sol saiz 1*, that could be a tip.

jet is ideal location, but not so good inside

Before you book Jet see if you can check whether your room will be in older or newer block.

The newer block is fine, you can get air con in there, the rooms are clean and spacious.

The older block is pretty grimey, we stayed there once, no air con, maids came once in a week :roll: and you have to go thru one of those delightful :roll: bars on the main room to get to your room so I never felt very safe in them.
 
I stayed at Playa Sol 2 last year and i would recommend them, under 5 mins walk to Es Vive to your left and 5 mins walk to Playa Den Bossa Beach on your right, they have air con which Playa Sol 1 did not have ...
they are basic inside but very clean and quite modern ...... Playa Sol 1 does have pool by the sea and the rooms might be bigger but air con wins hands down, and the pool at 2 is ok also........ and u dont want to be over in San AN now do u? 8)
