Thousands of young Spaniards and other Latin-types will congregate in Amnesia between midnight and 3am Sunday morning. Unfortunately for them they arrived far too early and will be in bits on the floor if they stay till it peaks at any time between 11am and 3pm.

A fat lady might strip naked. Somebody will get hurt. Dj Oliver won't play anything half way recognisably decent until everyone's almost but not quite had enough. Cue 30 minutes of pandemonium.

Exit stage right. Look both ways twice before you cross the road.

I always imagined the Amnesia closings would attract a really one off crowd of familiar island faces and nostalgia moments - but I'm guessing this isn't the case?

I was quite literally ordered to do so as part of my employment duties by my then employer, also at the party.

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Yes. Huge.

In the few days before they give out lots of flyers which admit two. However each person has to pay 10 or 20 euros to get in.

Amnesia closing peaks very late - always after dawn, sometimes after midday on the Sunday.
