Anyone interested in a Secretarial career??

mmm...familiar, I used to manage a training scheme that ended in my (thankfully volountary & cash induced) redundancy in a corporate disaster of epic proportions. I was not so bad as I had experience, qualifications etc, but a lot of the trainees had not gone to Uni specifically due to the course.:cry: really felt for them as I could see it coming. 2 of em are close to being damn millionaires by 25 now though.

On another note on arrival at Olympia yesterday, I was told to make my way to the Touchstone Kiosk and ask for Louise Sweeney - 8O 8O half expected Buckers to jump out and go "Tah Dah........." !!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a brilliant day - loved doing what I was doing but I have never seen so many tramps just walking around and grabbing freebies - none of them actually interested in any of the companies or jobs as PA's just there for how many pens, keyrings, lanyards, they could grab....:oops: :oops: :oops: What the f**k would you want 30 Accenture pens for?????:roll: I reckon the split was 60/40 to people serious about looking for work - the rest were just there for a warm and a cup of coffee....:lol:

On the whole, I think the fair was a great success
