Anyone got their Ibiza holiday mob phone bill in yet?

No not yet as I only get my bills quarterly as the phone goes with my job. Me thinks I will need to confirm all international calls/texts/mms etc as official business  Worked last year ;)

Hardly used Kaz's mobile out there but still cost £53

Mine's due next week, I bet I'm def £200+

Why oh why does it seem so funny at the time to send group texts to everyone back at home when you're on your way to DC10/coming home from Pacha etc when they're all at work :?

Or when you are on the terrace at Space and completely 8O

You should leave your mobile at home.

That's like going out with your credit card and when you are like this 8O :D 8O :D 8O you run out of cash and you discover you can pay drinks with your credit card... bad bad

You see that's one problem I don't have cos I never have pockets and I'm pushing my luck expecting Tom to carry that on top of everything else of mine

I dread to think what my bill would be if I took a phone out with me 8O

My roaming bill for one week in South Africa was over $800 8O 8O 8O

A lot of it was work related though, so I'm expecting reimbursement. :?

I do it every year, and I still never learn.....

I blame Drew, Barbie and Gingerfreak for encouraging me...... 8)

The text chat we had on the Fri morning after I had been to Cream and you Deep Dish has just sprung to mind. A very bizarre thing happened, I was sitting on the bed in my mates apartment resting my back against the wall, when I moved to the balcony for a better reception to send a text to you, everyone was "oohing" and "ahhing" when I turned my back to them. I had been sitting against the wall for so long that when I moved, I had, stuck to my back a piece of plaster and paint off the wall, and amazingly its a 4" x 3" exact replica of the Island of Ibiza - everyone thought it was a mass hallucination at first........

Glad I didnt take a photo taken of it on my phone - I would have had the urge to send it to all and sundry, which in turn would have probably added another £30 on the bloody phone bill.... :D :D :D

Opposite our apartment there was a hairdressers called Maria (as in Maria the Llama  ) and Jamie insisted on taking photo of the sign and sending it to everyone back at home

Incidentally - you didnt get a photo of Diego "the pup" Motson in his Sheepskin Coat and shades did you???? I thought I sent it to my friend back home - but she never received it.....

He went everywhere with us (made Mr PL win him for me on one of those grabby arcade machines) - his coat made a practical carrying area.... Stupidly on returning home, I popped him on the bed to introduce him to his UK family and guess what fell out from under his coat!!! Yep - all the way through customs ... 8O 8O 8O

No I was definitely not the recipient of the piccy of Diego in his coat and shades, maybe you sent it to your boss by mistake, it wouldn't be the first time you've had problems with mobiles and your boss is it  ;)

Good to hear that customs are a stringent as ever 8O

yeah i have. :( there two weeks. it was 180. my call charges come up to 90 pound. i barely used it either and when i did it was to people already in ibiza and not home. i used the phonebox for that. text quite alot. trust me to fall in love jus before i go away (hence the constant messaging! ) even a visit from said boyfriend and suprise visit from best mate last week of hol didn't save my bill. we ended up ringin each other when wasted when went to a couple of different nights.  the 180 pound bill is made worse by the fact that while i was away i took some money out of my bank which i was then charged for so i didn't hav enough to pay previous phone bill of 80 pound so i was charged again! so i owe a total of 260 now. outstanding balance. i can only afford to pay half of this now. thought i would of been cut off by now but just rang t mobile who said there jus concerned bout the first bill of 80 pound which needs to be paid by 21st. im stickin with t mobile. v reasonable people considerin i haven't paid em owt for two months! :D

I had a cunning plan this year - I removed all bosses numbers from my phone before going to Ibiza - see! I am learning....

There were non on at Liverpool when we landed that early on. If only I had known - Diego's coat would have been filled to overflowing...... 8)
