Anyone going to Space/DC10 opening parties?

Same here.. I missed DC10 last year, but this year i'm there. I book my flight today.

I said I wouldn't go this year but my willpower is looking just as pitiful as it was last year... think it might have to be done!! I'm looking at the 06.05AM Sunday flight > > all day on BB & then onto Space > DC10 & catch the 23.50PM Monday flight home, perrrrfect!!!

I'm hitting Homelands too Ginger... cos it will be on the 28th May this year but Space is not opening till 5th June this year!!!!

Yep, i'll be there... booking 2nd till 8th of June. (should be booked by the end of the week!!) I'll probably be staying near Stu.

MyVenture, didnt you also go to last years opening, but we didnt see you?? Hopefully we'll catch you this time round.

Of course! I feel an attack on the credit card coming on (if I had a credit card). Might have to make one in then, see how the funds go, I'm in Ibiza on the 24th, but a couple of weeks before might be good...

Flying BA. the hotel is in Figueretas- can't remember what its called though

We got a really good deal through Expedia- well worth a look!

i'm gonna catch a few of the openings this year i think (have never been for the openings or early part of the season). Prob going to go over from 18th june for 10 days.

but still be be booked.

oh and i'm prob going in september for the closings... but thats still to be booked as well...

I was checking flights today for around the 3rd of June, Easyjet dont start flying from Ldn Gatwick till end of june, so i may fly from this new on ein Kent.

While working out there i stayed in a hostel, but does anyone know if its possible to just turn up @ hotels and book rooms?

im thinking of staying thw whole of june, then come back to the UK for a wekk or 2 then head back midd july till end of september, but we shall see, options are open.

For the first time, I'll be there in June but just after Sonar from 19 to 29 June so I'll hopefully get to take in the Sundays at Space opening (if it's a decent line-up), Cocoon and Manumission.

If it's similar to last year, Cocoon opening will be the 20 June, and the Manumission one will be the Monday after that (or even the week after that which would be too late for me).

Although if it's the same night, I'll do both.
