Did think about PDB this year but with the uncertainty of Bora Bora and I only go to Space for WLS so.....

We're Stansted as well but we've gone for the really early flight, I think it's 6.05 to get an extra day in. Can't beat a few spritzers at the airport at 4am

It is now but at the time of when I booked it was uncertain

IMO you are far better staying in a smaller hotel/apartment block. Go with your gut instinct.
