Any suggestions for girls names?

.. firstly, congratulations and I hope all goes well when baby chooses to arrive !!

We had a few names in our heads, but chose to wait till both girls arrived to name them. It's funny how you think of one particular name, then when they arrive they "look" bothing like that name ... strange I know, but true !

Lola! I'm a midwife in training and have heard all sorts of weird and wonderful names in the delivery room!! I know for my kids, I want something different but not strange (Apple, Tallulah....NO!!!) There are so many lovely names that have just got soooooo common!

I know what you mean. My boyfriends uncle and auntie called their new baby Charlotte, and I thought that was so lovely. With the daft names going around at the moment, the name Charlotte is probably unique nowadays! :D

I've had a couple of babies named after me, which is a bit odd. I'm just doing my job! I can usually only think of boys names that I really like, not girls. I bet I end up with all girls, too!! I like traditional Scottish boys names best! :D

I prefer Bradley to Brad! I love Fraser, Andrew, Stewart and Murray (cos it's my second name!!) I'm the last Murray as there's no boys to carry the name on so I'd like to call my wee boy Murray (if I have one!!)

i wouldnt want my kids associated with a ritzy nightclub :)

I'm thinking less of a ritzy nightclub 8O and more of a garden :D

I think this is why my missus likes the name Eden, so has some notion of an angelic little girl who never misbehaves

I like Saskia too, but it reminds me of the bird on Eastenders that met a grizzly end and was buried in a roll of carpet

Eden is the fave at the moment for a girl, Harvey for a boy! But I suspect that in typical woman style the misus will change her mind on whatever names we chose when he / she is born!

Thanks for the suggestions :)

harvey is lovely, eden sounds like....a prostitutes name imo, but then again thats just comparing to danish name standards where everyone is called either camilla, sophie or emma!
