Any of ye good people got any tips on simple cheap decor/ for a rather boring venue which is just a hall?
Or anything simple which would break the monotony of it?

from most army surplus stores i think thou if your using it as decor it has to be fire proof!!

also white drapes with a uv light looks wicked !

Use as far as possible indirect lighting in halogen or normal lightbulbs. That enhances a lot the comfort and intimacy of a venue.

Another idea: those pieces of cloth simulating flames hanging on walls. They're lightened by red and yellow lights from below and have an air fan underneath to make them move like the fire. Maybe there're cheap choices for this.
