Does anyone else feel really anxious before a night out??
I dont feel like going anywhere at the moment

That's exactly what happened to us, probably 3/4 years ago.DrChidd said:After many nights out over many years and having spoken to many people about this, I'm afraid that this is your body telling you that it doesn't want those chemicals in there any more. Anxious, apprehension, sick feeling in your stomach??? You may be at the stage where the bad times relating to clubbing outweigh the good. It's not a bad thing though as if you carry on you are risking your sanity in the long run. To get over this, many people go out with the notion of sticking to alcohol and pacing themselves and just enjoying the music, this can calm you down a great deal, then when your out you have a choice and more often than not you have a good time with just alco.
Well that's my opinion, your welcome to a second one.
If anyone wants to add their own comments then keep this thread going as lot's of people go through this.

The wrongness your body felt after a heavy night made it just not worthwhile, especially when you have a demanding job.
I used to get the anxious thing before a night, simply because i knew i shouldn't be doing it and would regret it, which is exactly what happened once i'd done it.
I would advise anyone who enjoy clubbing to do it and enjoy it cos one day it WILL end, or at least slow right down. My g/f reached this stage before me as she's older, which caused a few problems when i was intent on going out. Then all of a sudden, i just wasn't bothered anymore either.
I started to realise i much preferred spending evenings in with friends, especially people you can enjoy a conversation with. Sure, we still go out occasionally but would probably involve a restaurant and a bar or two. Sounds dull but isn't dull when it happens to you.
This one of the reasons we gave Ibiza a miss this year (sorry last year LOL). We will always love Ibiza, but felt a duty while there to go clubbing but each time we did it just seemed to get more boring. Sure, the clubs are still great but why were we there, what were we looking for? It was just an excuse to get trashed, then feel like death and not be able to enjoy the daytime. Next time we go, we'll try and stay away from the clubs.
Sorry, i'm rambling.
