Anthems of the Island 2006

Got back from Ibiza yesterday there was a tune that was played with female vocals that sounded something like 'wanna come to a party, come and save me'...........anyone ahve any clue about the song I'm talking about?

Also lovin the remix of Mary J Blige - be without you

Any ideas where I can get either?

Having spent last weekend there i was surpirsed to hear loads of old tracks still being played, like Deux - Sun Rising up nad Moby - Rain Again here and there.

Plus Bora Bora still loves Skylarks "thats more like it"..

This is all fine by me because there'll all such a great tracks, plus it really gets the crowd jumping 8)

From the newish ones all I kept hearing was Same Man and Big Love (linus loves mix)

Second that, from the parties i went to whilst over there Andy Cato - La Luna and Paolo Mojo - 1983 (Eric Prydz Remix) both sounded amazing in Space!

Changes, Jupitar and Sedna all good tunes, but can't stand the vocal from Kings Of Tomorrow that's been put over Changes, bit naff in my opinion, but each to their own. Definately check out 'Solid Groove - Red Hot' too, sounded awsome on the Terraza's Funktion 1 system and although maybe a bit too quirky for some, definately need to check it out on a big setup ;)

forgot to add the new Karen Overton reworking of Billy Ray Martin's 'Your Loving Arms', heard that a few times too and really liked it. Can definately see it crossing over into mainstream come September though, will no doubt get a release on Data or something :?
 
i agree about that nasty over used all chewed up vocal in changes
i'm in it just for the piano bit so lets keep it to the original mix :)

Definitely agree!! These are two 'typical' Space tunes...genius!

Yep i was in ibiza a few weeks ago, and that track is being hammered in most clubs...

And for your info it is "Same Man" by West, Till and DJ Delicious.

tune though, gets people jumping, i like it...

that 'love dont walk away' tune is fresh! its definatkey gunna be a smasher this year, last time i went iiza was 2004 and they were rinsing out deepdish- flash dance and gipsy girl everywhere
